I don't why, but this makes me think of an uncorrupted Spamton in his prime, when he's at the top of his game as a salesman, right before the voice disappeared and it all came tumbling down.
This feels less like a Big Shot Remix and more like an original song that uses Big Shot's motif, and honestly, I think that sets it far apart and above from any Big Shot remix I've heard to date. It's completely custom, it feels entirely unique and just stands on its own as a fantastic song. Seriously good work, every second of this is [[KROMER]].
or maybe it's just that most remixes (in general) don't change enough. honestly, I think this is how all remixes should be, most remixes don't have enough personality and uniqueness and feel too similar to the original
@@thegreyhound But isn't that what original songs are for? There are some remixes (not this one) that feel like you expected to hear some of what made you like the original so much but it just isn't there, and you wonder why bother having it be a remix at all. Then again it isn't black and white. I agree this is a good remix, and it falls somewhere in the middle. I actually happen to know 3 convenient examples that are remixes of the same song, Conflict by Siromaru and Cranky. - I like t+pazolite's remix even though it doesn't change much; it just reimagines Conflict in tpz's style, combining two things I love already. It's fun to listen to and with some songs that's all I care about. - I do like NOMA's remix as a song, but I'm not happy about how it was done because it feels like Conflict is all but gone until right at the end, and the simplistic way it's done at that point doesn't work because of how long it's built up and how cool the other drops are in comparison. It was part of an event in a rhythm game where Cranky and NOMA remixed each other's songs, which were both iconic rhythm game songs. Especially in a context like that, it was a letdown to see the remix not really celebrate the original. - The best in my opinion is VILA's remix, as it adds but doesn't take away. The arrangement is redone, there are new sections, and those sick chorus vocals get the spotlight right at the climax of the song (I could rant for so long about EDM remixes exiling the original to the bridges and buildups). It's similar, as in it uses the actual stems of the original and has the same chord progression and tempo, but it's its own thing as well. I guess I personally see a remix as more focused on the original artist than the remixer. Like a matter of respect and paying tribute.
Wow, I truly was not expecting this song to get as much attention as it has been! I tend to just make things for myself first and foremost, so I never really expect any of my work to get noticed. Thank you everyone for the kind words, it really really means a lot :)
I really love Syth[z~CYBER!]]-Punk aesthetics and sounds. This is such a [[WONDER-FILLED]] clash of the two, that I've listened to this every time it's been recommended by The UA-cam [[AI OVERLORD]] Algorithm in the past couple days. [[17 TIMES AND COUNTING!]] Looking forward to seeing more of your [[Performances]] Videos like this.
Absolutely! And for anyone reading who hasn't checked out the rest of their songs, please do! This is not a one-off kind of thing. Consistently great stuff!
Also, I know I already commented on this, but I have to say this has got to be one of my favourite Big Shot remixes oh my god you have so much talent I can’t even begin to tell you. Please never give up on what you’re good at, and always remember to firstly do what you want yourself first!
I love that the beginning bit is almost (almost because I don't know if its intentional or not) like a distorted version of Power of NEO, as Spamton in this context isn't there yet. It's almost like a vague foreshadowing of his eventually struggle for freedom.
This would easily be something I could hear in the background of an old video from the early 2000s. Thanks for bringing back some childhood memories :3
this is incredible, it has its own feel distinct to big shot but still has that distinct 'Undertale/Deltarune' feel about it and wouldnt be out of place if you were to put it in those games. I cant wait to see what other remakes you do next (id love to see dialtone in this kind of style as its my favourite song in all 3 soundtracks)
I am so bloody glad to see how much this video has exploded over the past week and a half or so. It’s gained 10x the views of when I first listened to it, and it deserves every last one of them. Perhaps an odd comparison, but it’s almost like the instrumental counterpart to the Stupendium’s Ad Infinitum. A Spamton fan song that’s more of an experience than a song you’d casually listen to.
And looping back around its just about at 8x where it was when I left this comment! This still stands as one of my absolute favourite remixes, and it’s wonderful to see how much traction it’s gotten. Still great work ! :D
@NumberOneRated1997 iirc it was around 80k or so when I left that comment, so almost another 2x! Not as big of a leap, but still amazing. The more people that hear this track the better- this is still one of my absolute favourite fanworks for any media, not just Deltarune.
Not kidding when I say that this song is *fantastic* for focus. From studying to hunting in MH:Rise, my attention span is on point thanks to this. Cheers, keep up the great work!
Other NYCTBA are intense or swanky, and other BIG SHOT remixes are bombastic and grand. This doesn't feel like spamton, or spamton neo. This feels like the purified, clean essence of everything that makes spamton what he is. In a word, this sounds like his very soul.
Absolutely fantastic. Love these kinds of extended electronic arrangements. Also forgot to mention: I see that sneaky dancing Spamton on the track title ;D
This is truly an incredible remix! Actually showed it to my Mom, and she said it sounded just like something from 1997! Gets a permanent spot on my playlist, good work ^^
You know? I disovered this song and chanel just 2 days ago, and damn man, this is so good, it helped me to connect with myself to do the homework. I really love all the effort you putted in to make the song 7 minutes long instead of the usual 2 and a half.
I feel like this is Spamton as he's falling out of relevance. For just a little while, he was outshining every other addison, until everything stopped working. The static and distortion sandwiching the beautiful music make it sound like a last moment in the limelight before everything falls apart.
I've been listened this vid too much, so SO great what you have done. LMAO AND TOO MUCH TIME I'VE SEEN THIS VIDEO AND NEVER REALIZE THAT TINY DANCIN SPAMTON FROM OVERTHERE, SO CUTE
Big Shot, but not Big Shot, but it is Big Shot, which sounds uniquely pleasing to hear Also like how you put it to spamtons favorite year and not just put it at 90s style instead
this is one of those songs that you put on around friends and they go 'holy shit this is so good' and then realize its a megalovania remix, but with spamton
Seeing as I can’t find this on Spotify even though someone says it’s there… Day three of asking for this to be on Spotify. If it really is already there, can someone send me a link?

it really does tbh
I believe that is implied in the title, not only being a 1997 remix, but also the fact the name isn't in [bracket]s
@@AmalgamJiena the name of the song was never in brackets
For me, I thinks it’s mostly cuz of the art. Gives me young Spamton vibes.
