I think the only problem i have with this game is that the mentally ill character is killed off with no questions asked. Kinda wish there was an earlier character arc from him
it sounds to me like they were setting up Nathan's personal delusions as a way to sidestep the character from taking max seriously, or summing down nathan to the "boring bad guy"
the storm audio sounds like its a clear attempt to make the player think that nathan must know more than he does about max's powers in general also, not neccesarily finding Rachel, so i do think they removed this for a good reason to because it fundamentally draws away from the main story focus
They way you find out he’d been dead the whole time you were looking for him, I felt like that was so random and they must have had a different plan for him. So they just found a way to kill him off scene to move on with a different plan that didn’t involve him anymore. Kind of felt unfair we didn’t get a chance to save Nathan too.
also the final car audio sounds to me like episode 5 may have originally taken a direction of Chloe and max being in the car together and realizing Nathan wasnt the bad guy and then possibly saving him, saying to CHLOE not back to jefferson, lets either turn around and go kill him or call the cops
In original game, fixed in remaster, there was visible gap around doors in Samuels room, that i guess had to lead to his office. You could angle camera to sneak trough, but there was nothing there. Just empty space where room suposed to be. You can still wiggle camera and sneak trough in remaster, but besides weird texture deep underground, all that space was removed. Silk Scarf remains there during night visit tho, its one thing thats never explained.
I feel the same way. They tried to give him a redemption arc by killing him and saying he was just being manipulated by Jefferson, but he was just as twisted as Jefferson. If he hadn't died, he would have been in the dark room tormenting Max too.
There was no redemption for him. Him being batrayed and killed is no redemption. I will give it to him for at least trying to warn Max but that doesn't change the fact that up until he got batrayed he was a sick scumbag just like Mark and most definitely would've continued being so if Mark didn't batray him. I think it would've been better If he was with Jefferson in the dark room with Max and Mark gives him the syringe to put Max out but Nathan can't do it and instead turns on Mark and tries to save Max but then gets killed in front of her
I genuinely didn't realize Nathan died until you said he got killed. I thought for years he died from the storm in the Bae ending or just was regretting what he did bc he finally took his meds or something. Didn't realize Jefferson straight up murks him

You start out by buying supplies, and you can make choices throughout the game to determine if you make it through the wagon trail. I'm 46, and I played it when I was about 10. This was when a lot of people didn't have computers. But my school did, I played there.

lmao, totally. is definitely camp, and the dialogue can be cringe and full of cheap twin peaks references. but it was made for a very young audience, very tumblresque, it didn’t need to be “smart” like david lynch stuff. i loved it when i was a little kid and it will always have a place in my heart despite its flaws.
You're crazy. The dialogue was great! It's a coming-of-age story/mystery story so it's obviously going to be a little campy but for me that just added to the charm of the game.

I think that nathan was suppose to save max if you made friends with him, or david if you didnt

yahh, that could make sm sense
I don't think calling the cops would be an option as Chloe is really hesitant on the police, so she probably will stop Max from calling the police
