I did it by myself to 428i m sport but it wasn't that easy to remove the original reflectors because of stubborn glue. Cleaning the glue was also a challenge; although, they looked much better after replacing them. Maybe I didn't have the right tools. Paid $75 incl. shipping.
RAIN Seattle how long did you heat the original glue for, and did you heat it from the front side or the back? I got a 435i msport too and tried this on mine but was scared of the heat damaging the paint on the outer side so I put it aside for the time being
what was the outside temperature when you did this? I see it was uploaded in Jan but was it filmed during the summer? Mine are impossible to get out and I blow dry it for minutes.
heat guns get way hotter than blow dryers. I was unable to remove my OEM reflectors with a hair dryer. Going to try with a heat gun next that's what everyone suggests in these videos.
Those look like what was called 346's I think, which looked like a Rep - long time ago they stopped producing these, and I doubt many are out there unfortunately.
Mod Bargains are a bit pricy 165.00 total. ( F90 M5 ) Instead went to a body shop paid 150.00 total they filled, sanded and painted with OEM paint to match, ( took 3.5 hours )100% better the painted reflectors no lines what so ever you can’t tell if there was ever anything there like it never had reflectors.
@@992turbos8 Also the difference between a wise spender and a profligate. It's just a reflector. There are better parts of a car to pour cash into. But just my opinion.
Bryan Okai First you use Profligate wrong ! Using cheep and unprofessional parts Just never looks right. You made the effort to conceal it but it’s half ass done to some thats good enough but to others it it’s trash When you get a little older and have a better job you to can afford to do it right and not So much GETTO. I realize your still a kid with limitation. Here’s a dose of reality 2 weeks ago spent $251k on my new Porsche. When you spend 100-200 thousand dollars on your car your looking for perfection not trash.
Awesome thanks! Added blacked out ones to my black 335i f30

Compare buying these reflectors off Amazon or eBay for like 15 bucks and installing it with simple tools.

That the difference between a car Enthusiast and a wannabe.
