Hello, I got a letter saying they needed 60 days that was up 6/13/22 got another letter saying they needed 60 more days so 60 more days will be 8/12/22 so we will see
This should be fucking illegal. I filed Jan 28 and still haven't gotten a dime. My child tax credit AND stimulus checks were included in my return. This is so goddamn intentional we need to get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE WHITEHOUSE.

The IRS is quick to take your money but to pay out the employees just do nothing and make excuses to stay home. We need to fire the old and hire new employees. All the IRS and government does it take and when its time to give back they blame covid or make other excuses. I sent my taxes off in March, I'm still waiting for a refund

I filed feb 1 and still nothing. I received a letter in April stating my Child tax credit was adjusted and I would receive my refund in 4-6 weeks. I finally got in contact with a tax advocate today and they looked into what’s the hold up only for them to tell me the IRS has my taxes under review. No letter asking to verify information after all these months or even to let my know I was under review, nothing! They’re sick. The way people are struggling and they have an individuals refund just sitting there “under review” when in reality they’re not reviewing a damn thing. Their broke asf buying time with bs excuses for why so many people are still waiting for what’s rightfully theirs.
For fuk sakes already …. It’s crazy how my lady friend got pregnant and had a baby before my tax return was even looked at🤷🏾♂️ that ish says it wasn’t even processed

I filed feb 8th!! A simple return…. And nothing!! When you do the website it says tax topic 152. It’s said this all year.

Good news everyone, they started processing 2022 tax returns. Finally the Where’s my refund app finally says received after 5 months of anguish.
Ok. Maybe I get there's a backlog.
