I didn't realize that Kaffe Fasset was still around! He was a premier knit wear, quilt and fabric designer in the 80'sn and 90's. I think he continued on, but I remember his knitting hey day being the 80's and 90's. Polka Dot Sheep is one of my favorite yarn dyers. Their studio is 130 miles from me, and I have visited their shop. Love their yarn and understand why the designer calls it her favorite.
I'd never heard of Kaffe Fasset until making this video and it seems he's super famous. Someone else has told me he's turning 85 this week. I haven't used Polka Dot sheep but it looks lovely!
Thank you. I watched this for no real reason as I making the Toni Lipsey AdventUrous Scarf. I saw your other video and thought that would be perfect as I am learning Tunisian crochet and it is lovely. I had my first colour today, a bright green, I love brights. I made the first part and cannot wait to open tomorrow and see what I have next. It is kind of fun not knowing what it will look like. I also don't knit, cannot get to grips with knitting and am happy with my hooks but just lovely how enthusiastic you are about patterns and colours and yarns. That is really why I sat and watched, it made me happy.
Aww thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and still watched even though you are not a knitter. I really appreciate that! Ooh Enjoy your calendar! It sounds like a lovely bright one!
Thanks for all this research 😍 Did Terry believe you were working? 😂 Someone I knew who’d been to a Kaffe Fasset workshop said he told them it rhymes with ‘safe asset’ 😁
Haha! He did! For once! Ahh now that's good info. So I got it completely wrong, but if he's telling people "Safe Asset" he must get it a lot. I'd never heard of him until this!
