The game is being remade (FFVII Remake) in instalments, the first having been released last year on PlayStation 4 (to all our delight!). He also guest appears in various other games (e.g Kingdom Hearts, Smash Brothers) and the movie Advent Children. More of his actual past showing he was once a nice character is in the Playstation Portable game called Crisis Core (love it). Though the 'Remake' is incredibly different to the original game, we have no idea what's instal, but happy for all the Sephiroth ♥️
I think my favourite thing about this whole video is when the chorus kicks in it shows Sephiroth and Cloud in the Edge of Creation like he really is bringing Heaven
I remember seeing these lovely cat eyes of his back in the old PS1 era and loved that feature on him the most. Seeing them now in glorious near realism has all but destroyed yet impressed me beyond reasoning. This and the voices they gave him over the decades. (cept the one in KH but I'll forgive them since he was a fun boss fight) with their eerily calm tone.
I do believe that the devs are aiming for a *partial* redemption arc for Sephiroth, my guess is to turn him into an antihero, by virtue of still being Cloud's rival, but now free from Jenova. This would be the best route for the character as Sephiroth really has transcended his franchise as a pop cultural icon. It would be best to do much more with his character than kill him off permanently.
This song is deeper than the depths of the ocean and coupling it with Sephiroth in this video.... you have me drowning in the deepest trenches. But I'm not complaining.
Wow. This is absolutely GORGEOUS! I got introduced by this legendary antagonist thanks to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and I couldn't help but DROWN in those beautiful green eyes of Sephiroth's! The one-winged angel remains as my most second strongest DLC guest star, the first being Persona 5's Joker. But by God, those GORGEOUS facial features and eyes just caused me to melt into a puddle when I saw Sephiroth's Ultimate reveal trailer when he was announced in December. This man is A THOUSAND TIMES more beautiful than Joker! I mean just one look into those gorgeous eyes and I knew Sephiroth had me under his spell! And oh God, his voice, his calm yet dangerous voice is what made me fall for him even more than with the leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts! And I am NOT lying. PS: Ever since Sephiroth arrived in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this angel has a thousand percent brought Heaven to me as my new bad boy and main.
