Hey matey, after the run-in period, I tot the mileage was pretty decent. Okay...the indicator shows full tank till I hit about average of 120km. Then the last bar starts blinking at about 195km. After which I can still push till about 270km before I refuel. When I refuel at about 270km, I usually realise that I still have about 1.5 to 2 liters of fuel left in the tank. I travel a minimum of about 60km to 70km per day so I do fill up every 3 to 4 days. In general, I think 270km on a 14 liter tank is ok. Is it not?
Everytime you see a servo top it up, we go through 3 tanks a ride on a Saturday with the boys during summer. You cant have power without using fuel thats just how it is. Yes the fuel bars are stupid i hate that on my xsr. Would be better not even having a fuel display its that useless
Great bikes,, fast, very light, smiles per mile,, I have the sp version,, had 1200 suzuki bandits mostly , but the Mt,, my oh my the dogs coconnies,, lol
The fuel gauge of my ninja 400 is really accurate though? It drops bar by bar, and each bar roughly takes the same kilometers to drop. Be sure to compare your fuel gauge levels only when sitting on the bike at a flat road. Having the bike on it’s kickstand, or standing on an incline/decline makes a difference of like 2 bars in your gauge
tip for your con with the fuel that's low and than suddenly isn't: Don't turn the bike on until you've got it in between your legs. It'll show less when it's on the side stand and it will only update periodically. It will check when you turn the electrical system on. My XJR 1300 has the same thing. Enormous 21 liter tank, almost empty. set it straight, oh no wait, I'm half full. Best just turn it on when you're mounted :)
Fuel indicator is described in the user manual (shows full until you get to 50%, when it starts blinking you have like a 3 liter reserve).
I use my quickshifter on the street all the time. Do I need it? Why, yes. yes I do. Because not having one gave me anxiety, so I installed it.

It is
Thats nice, mt GPZ900R does about 270km on a 22l tank lol
It is pretty good. Especially if you still got 1,5-2L left in it👍🏻

Haha I know right. But yeah definitely need to fuel these things up especially when you're punching it hard.

Same as the 2018 ninja 400 about the digital fuel indicator. Not accurate.

When you say it gets 170 km per tank, is that to empty or when the fuel light comes on?
You're driving on the wrong side.
Keep it up 👍🙂
I liked exhaust of this bike.
I thought it was a inline 3 cylinder?
Crossplane 3

This is while I'm mounted and riding the bike. Thanks for the tip though I've experienced that with other bikes
