This is the worst team in the north side of Chicago I ever remember watching in all 40 years of my life, and that's saying something

neris: base hit; walk ... and more often than not, retires the side. It ain't pretty, but he's still better than Alzolay was with his injury. Now, putting *both* Little then Neris in is really tempting fate, but it worked out.

This team to be angry at themselves and embarrassed. They need to be unsparingly self-critical and demand more of themselves.
I don’t blame Justin for being irate, that’s the difference sometimes between a good picture and a great picture, he demands success. He demands getting it done right without stupid mistakes can be so frustrating and irritating, which is why we love it because the great winning moments kind of cure everything, but I love his fire and intensity. We should see more of that from other players, it’s real leadership.

The problem is definitely NOT Happ or hoerner. Happ didn’t have a single botched play this game or even this series, and nico more often than not has really good plays. I think the problem with the bloop was poor communication
Dansby is so frustrating. His “all star defense” is completely gone and he is an average defender at best. And don’t even get me started on his offense, he can’t hit the ball to save his life. And we are giving him like 28 mil. He should be the first to go
