Crawford , Thankyou for the most informative and for me hands down best uk Farming channel , great editing etc , and delivered in a chearey manor , TPF has a lot to learn 👍
Olly Blogs did a piece on the straw market - he points out that the straw merchants talk the price down at this time of year convincing everyone the market is dead, stock pile as much has they can and then make money in the winter when once again everyone is surprised they need straw. As others have said, wet weather means a lot of farms are chopping the straw because they cannot be certain it will dry for bailing this year. If you have the space, store it and cash in post Christmas
Such a good video, as always. Your filming is fantastic. Always so much varied information, technical, agricultural and drone shots. You are the best producer of interesting videos on utube that I watch. 👏👏👏. Love the spicy sweet potato soup in your Gloagburn Farm Shop also😬
Straw get as many bales as you can predicting shortage this year with late harvest and farmers not wanting bale contractors on to land causing compaction and messing up land
Put a short piece of rubber hose with a bend in it on diesel gun so that it goes slightly below full, that should make the trigger switch off. I expect you cand find old bit of hose in your workshop.
Just a quick question what size is the grain store where you were loading the lorry it look's a fair size good luck with your harvest I look forward to seeing your new cattle shed
