Hi, I also love Lug and I have 2 via’s like yours - one for my teaching items (which stays in my office) and another bag for my personal items. I just got a mini ranger and it has a top handle that you might enjoy. This bag is quite small and it would fit in your via. I have a few other Lug bags and I love them all so much. I have, and prefer, the original via to the via 2 as well. I have never been a fan of the puddle jumper pocket configuration. I am a teacher too (kindergarten), have you looked at the ace 2 tote bag? It is very similar with hidden backpack straps and the insulated pocket (on the front), as well as water bottle cargo pockets on each side :)
Thanks for that suggestion! I have been tempted by the Ace2 a few times, but it looks so slim in terms of depth to me. I'm not sure why that's deterring me.... lol. Maybe that would be okay? I am actually enjoying going back and forth between a few bags every few weeks. I like to change it up. One that I use here and there is a discontinued square-shaped bag that reminds me of the Ace2 tote, and I'm enjoying that! Thanks for watching!
I have been curious about the packables... I have no doubt they hold lots, but I wonder about weight. I'm typically not packing fluff. ;) Will they withstand more than fluff?
@@triciafriesen3693 absolutely I pack snow pants shoes change of clothes lunch bag water bottle and more it can withstand a lot. The eco shopper totes can do 50 lbs and those are just grocery bags

I also have the issue of straps and what have you getting caught in the console getting in and out. 🙃 Loooove the botanical black, especially on the Can Can. Mine is heather grey but hmmmm I may need to check out other prints.

In the warmer months when I don’t have to bring snow pants I bring my via 2! It fits sooo much!

I love my Can Can 2! It’s a great small bag. Small but mighty!And for me I love that it has the water bottle pocket.

I am a daycare teacher and love using my coupe around the room I also use my echo packable to haul things back and forth it packs a lot

Oh thank you for your comment! I think Botanical Black is my favourite pattern for the Can Can!
Have you looked at the Lug Scoop cross body? It's fairly small and has the top handle you like.
I might have just purchased my first scoop! :)
