Final Faction is orders of magnitude better than any toyline I've seen in years, mainly just because it's so affordable and readily available. I don't know how successful they can ultimately be getting action figures into the hands of kids to play with in the age of smartphones and Fortnite, but FF is doing everything right on their end.
no lmao I grew up in the 90s whwre toys like these were still seen as cheap. more articulation is what we been going for . I'm 84 born. 90s was my era. we're past the simple up and down and back anf forth Arms and legs. they tried with the backstory, but then they ruined it wkth the cartoon..it's almost paw patrol level even though they look as cool as g.i. Joe. that doesn't match. my 4yr old loves it but honest after having bought all of the stuff, put it together, bought some extras. ecause my 2yr old daughter loved having the same toys...they enjoyed it all of 2 days and NO other kids around older than 6 is taking these off the shelves
@Tyler Clark maxway, in my area. roses been around for a while. revco was a place I remember. I lived in a small town in SC. and those were our local stores. and I figured that if that little town had stuff like that, it had to be that way in other places that were multiple sizes bigger. excuse me. maybe I was wrong. but I didn't leave that town till I graduated in 2003 so idk. but yes, I do remember having toys wjth these simple articulations unless you got name brand toys like batman and such...that even moat od them had the same. plenty of stiff batman and superman toys back then too unless you got those special from the movie or cartoon type...for me, through magazine order.
I saw these at dollar tree on a whim a while back, and despite their 5poa I was taken back by their quality. Bought the mech guy and his accessories and have him on my desk. They will probably be a lot of kids nostalgic "first action figure" moment for a lot of kids.
I am hoping this will help bring back buying toys from a store and playing with action figures among the youth with their obsession with pc games and online sales. There's just something to buying a toy in person and having it in your hand instead of on a screen.
I bought NINJA! Figures as a kid, then I’d paper mache’ clothes onto them, sculpt play-doh heads for them, and paint them up. Made several dragon ball z figures that way. 😂 Greenbrier is indeed a dollar tree brand. They also make the good fake LEGO they sell at dollar tree.
I love those fake Legos so much , when I couldn't get the "real" Lego bricks I'd just buy the awesome knockoffs and make sets with them! What else is great.. it's compatible with actually Legos!!!! So of course I mixed them up at lot!
Other than these figures, I remember the best Dollar Tree toys I ever found were these Power Rangers KO's. I think they were called Raptor Storm and they were made from thin, cheap translucent plastic that eventually cracked and shattered from the hot sun. But they were very poseable and looked close enough to Power Rangers that I used them as evil rangers for a while.
Idk why YT recommended me this since I stopped playing with toys at around 8 years old but this was very nostalgic I'm 25 now but I remember moms would let me get no more than $5 worth of toys and every now and then I would also pitch in with chore money man I used to have G.I. Joe's, random soldiers, a few marvel characters, transformers, and pokemon figures 😭
If you keep watching my channel you may be hit by more nostalgia and might fall down the dark road I have of toy collecting as a young adult... lol Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed!
The missile launcher is right-handed, and the scope thingy lines up with their eye. Really well crafted, works great with t-crotch and modern Corps figures too.
I’ve been to 4 Dollar Trees and I can’t find the ACRM figure. I even had my cousin who lives out of state look for the ACRM and he can’t find him either. I don’t know why the ACRM is so difficult to find.
"This is a dollar from Hasbro" Prexio, actually. Hasbro just licensed it out to them. Also NGL, hearing Retroblasting's name just sends chills down my spine.
I bought quite a few and painted them up. They’re fun, nothing great. But for a dollar? Amazing. I kinda wish they weren’t hindered by the price. Then I’m sure we could see great articulation and I’m hoping for vehicles in the future.
The Kharn are really great and fun to paint. They have a lot of detail that can be brought out which is nice. It's there and for the price I don't expect articulation and kinda don't want it to be honest. That adds a whole lot of extra work for painting.
Jcc2224, cool idea with the final faction weapons pack because now watching this video makes me want to go the dollar store to get some heavy weapons for my clone troopers, Stormtroopers, and rebel soldiers some guns for cheap
The funny thing about that ninja is I bought one and it was a chonker. It was thick full plastic, not hollow, had sculpted fingers and his accessories worked perfectly with him
I have all the Alpha Team guys except the ACRM Mech. I’ve been to 4 different Dollar Trees and I still can’t find him. I recently just spent $15 bucks on building a Kharn Army which includes a couple extra Kharn Weapons packs and when you have them all lined up against your Alpha Team, they definitely look quite imposing. For a buck each why the hell not. I recommend you go for like I did!👍🏻
@@naidas73 I completely agree with you. Since my original post, I’ve been to 7 Dollar Trees and I had my cousin who lives out of state to look for the ACRM figure I’m missing in order to complete the set and he can’t even find it. Luckily I was able to buy one online for only a couple of bucks more. The new series of Final Faction figures are being split into two waves and this time around I’m going to be one of the first ones to buy them at my local dollar Tree. I don’t want to have to go through this again for a figure that only costs a buck!
I bought a a lot of those figures and their weapons packs from Dollar Tree. A buck 25 for each of what I got, plus some fluctuation with the price of the weapons packs, but in the end I only spent 36 something on 14 of the figures and 12 accessory packs. Couldn't find Diabol, the P-131, and one of the accessory packs for Ruck, but I'll be looking in my local Dollar Tree sometime later anyways. I got hooked on getting these after my grandmother got two of the figures for my little cousin.
Dollar Tree is raising their prices to $1.25 soon, so get all you can as quick as possible. Series 1 is selling out quick and series 2 is already out there.
FYI, Greenbriar International is on several Dollar Tree products, including their generic Legos- MakeIt Blocks- which are also decent toys. I hope they keep making the Final Faction cartoon series. It's all CGI so maybe they can hire a guy whose sole purpose is to make those cartoons, type up a boilerplate script and get a nameless voice actor(s) to record them in a studio, probably take 1 day to record an entire season.
Final Faction is still a cheap brand even by 90's standards, but the difference is they're giving it some actual effort in sculpt and branding. figures, weapons, vehicles, comic, cartoon. at what today is an insanely low price. why just make a generic knockoff when you can have an entire generic brand? perfect way to elevate the generic/KO toy market.
"Oh No, you're taking them out of their original packaging." 🤣 But seriously, I bet taking new figures out of their packaging has got to be satisfying.
It's seriously satisfying! I'm 32 and grew up with stuff like this and to have it so affordable and fun really perks up the nostalgia. That alone is worth the buck but I also get them for my niece and nephew and they are loving them!

Final faction looks epic but I've got to say I owned a NINJA figure when I was younger and I played with it all the time it was really fun but he doesn't have arms anymore also they used to not have elbows

Just look into the Knock-Off market and Chap Mei. I think you'll understand why these figures are important. It's a new era for this type of toy that we haven't seen in a decade or two. Worthwhile investment, fun to customize or use for other franchises and great as a stand alone dollar store collection, play, gifts.

There are some discount Marvel figures that are sold at Walgreens for $4. The Spider-Man and Black Panther figures are okay. The Captain America and Iron Man figures are pretty bad. The Thor figure is beyond terrible. If the package didn't say Thor on it, I never would have guessed that's who it was supposed to be.
