Black Girls Run! Foundation fosters community with support from the Outdoor Equity Fund

The Virginia Capital Trail brings communities together by providing a safe, widely accessible space to get outside. The Virginia Capital Trail Foundation's Outdoor Equity Fund fosters community by providing funds to organizations that enable equitable outdoor access. This organization provides masterclasses taught by a coach, dietitian, and physical therapist to African American women in Richmond ages 21 and up who want to successfully complete a 5K on the Virginia Capital Trail.
