I'm kinda disappointed that some bands sacrifice the notes for pure heavyness. I mean, look at bands like: Metallica, Whitechapel, Slayer, Gojira. They're super heavy, but you can distinguish musical notes, here, or in case of other modern bands like Humanitie's Last Breath, etc, you can't. This is only my oppinion, as a pianist/keyboardist. Another think I didn't like was the too poppy chorus/.

I get where you’re coming from, but keep in mind these bands are going for pure heaviness, they are purposefully trying to make a purely rhythmic driven sound (most of the time). The point is not usually to be super melodic. Cheers🤘

I'm not normally a big fan of the really high pitched metalcore choruses but I'm a huge fan of the chorus on this song

i feel they pitch shifted from g# to double drop g# and then went into the daw and transposed from g# another octave lower.
