El Estepario Siberiano is a living legend. I heard his right arm once played a gig in Vegas while his left arm was jamming in Brazil. Both shows sold out btw.
This guys skill set is like peak performance. How can it get better than this? He can literally play anything in any genre. Speed, groove, chops, stamina, creativity, technique. He has the full package. Whenever he gets bored he just starts expanding. He is to me, by all accounts, the world's greatest drummer.
Yes I agree this guy is the complete drumming machine at its finest. I hope Neil Peart got to see this guy before he passed away. Neil inspired me to play and has and always will have a big place in my heart. So I hope Neil got to see this guys handywork. RIP Neil.
Truly. I just...my brain can't comprehend the speed on it's own. Then the precision? Then the creativity? Then hell, the humor? He's by all accounts the best I've ever seen.
From what I've seen of him, I honestly struggle to see the "groove" part. He plays ultra-clean and on point, which is impressive, but that also makes him sound like a drum-machine. So groove and feel is probably where he's lacking the most IMO. Also, the stuff he plays just isn't that musical at the end of the day. It's more like a circus show, great for showing off on social media, not so great for actually making music with other people. I'd listen to e.g. Jojo Mayer or Benny Greb over this guy any day of the week because they're on a whole other planet in terms of groove, feel, taste, and musicality. I also disagree on the "any genre" part since I've never seen him play any swing, or latin, or funk, or, or, or. It's all pretty metal-oriented.

It's a marching drum tone. Both heads extremely tight for the rebound, weight added probably because the lugs couldn't take any more. As skilled as he is, his playing would suffer with a looser head with a fatter sound.

He, drinks or does something with his left hand to show the haters it is not speeded up. Makes me ashamed of all these hours I sit watching El Estepario Sibariano videos rather than sitting on my own throne. He is one in a million, and is so humble, he did a vid where he showed all of us; his talents are down to the amount of time and pratcice you put in, and of course natural talent.
Congrats on the most retarded statement of our life time. There's technique, and there's talent. When you can combine both, you get extraordinary results. Very, VERY rarely are there people in history that get through it on pure practice, without either luck or talent. @@caut5618 For example, your hand-eye is never going to be as good as his. Neither will mine. No matter if you practice for 20 years.
The snare speed is from MASS tension and dampening. Similar to a marching snare. Sans Kevlar (Maybe not?) Most likely, he uses a tough batter head and tightens it to maximum tension, but notice that he always has some kind of object (weight) on his snare. Be it a dumbell disc, usually a cowbell, etc. Of course, I am all for modifying and rigging up some cool stuff, believe me. But those rebound hacks are insanely thoughtful and obviously EXPONENTIALLY practical. I am not familiar with all of his equipment specs for various setups because that would require its own HTML just to be accessed. Because he's fucking amazeballs, and it's all gloriously custom loin tingling shells. But noting the added observation of a very light, long taper stick, (possible 5A or even 7A) that plays a nominal role in the snare rebound. The gravity blasts are what amazeballs, humanoid drummers achieve after achieving the "Buddy Rich" trick, or push-pull technique. But apply a little rimjob in there, combined with some massive head tension, getting incredibly in shape, and practicing for ALL OF THE TIME THAT HAS EVER EXISTED....you get the gravity blast. Drum Talk can sound SOOOO sexual. Because, yes. All of this greatness, and you get this man. And the sweetness-to-my-ears, most well-manicured mutton chops of the fucking English millennium. * finally takes breath* NOTE: This comment is my subjective opinion and observation.
I've found myself reluctantly binge-watching your content for the past 4 days, and I can't stop laughing. With all due respect and genuine admiration, I can't help but notice that many of your mannerisms and facial expressions remind me of the iconic and brilliant Weird Al Yankovic. It's uncanny and absolutely entertaining. Thank you for consistently staying true to YOUR art, which is clearly a testament to your success. I'm grateful to have stumbled upon your channel and am excited to join your fans in witnessing the exposure you provide for other artists, as well as your own artistic expression. I look forward to seeing your future growth and success.
You know that moment when you can't stop lolling because what you are watching is so insane, ludicrous and you just know you ain't never ever going to be able to copy it, even with 6 hands 'n' legs?.........I loved it, & apart from the obvious skills, his arms across the kit are liquid and most importantly of all, he's having a blast, literally', playing. Just AWESOME!!

I've been watching him for a while now and he progressed super fast. Mind blowing actually. But like he says gotta out in the hours. It's not different than any other passion.
Been watching this dude for a long time now, literal drum god. Crazy how people know guys like Peart, Portnoy, Carey, Bonham, etc but will never know this guy's name.
That's cause guys like Carey are better. For one thing, this guy is great, but he plays pretty standard beats and stays away from songs that have tons of polyrhythms. He's very mechanical.
@@ssjonupants to be fair, he's played and overplayed Bleed (Meshuggah) and others. He's got the chops without question, but he sticks with much more known songs/music for views I'd imagine.
Just when I thought I'd seen about all the drum videos I could possibly see, I stumble across this absolute beast. Rarely do you get to see someone take an entirely unique approach to the instrument like this. I don't know whether I'm inspired to practice more or if I just wanna throw in the sticks and give up. What I do know is that I'll be looking for more videos of El Estepapario Siberiano.
This guy is amazing! I love that Samus (as a master of the drums himself) is reacting with laughter instead of hatred, shows his ability to have fun! I would love to see this master drummer cover a tech death song like something from Necrophagist or Archspire.....with one hand!
Before i uninstalled tik tok i saw some clips of him explaining how he got this good over a surprisingly short period of time, and it is exactly just because of a decision to spend a recurring amount of time practising every single day. So inspiring.
He could play two drumsets at the same time.. So.. maybe do a split show with two bands on each side and just have him play drums for both. easy money savings! but seriously. this dude is one of the most creative modern drummers right now. He practices like 40 hours a day and this is the result. Super tight, super fast, creative and insanely good at making things sound awesome.
Look, I'm not a drummer or a musician but I love music and watching you watching this guy is so entertaining. Man, I really should start playing the drums.

Makes me wonder what he will do next. I still can't believe what he has already done. Out of this world man.
I appreciate your reactions more than anything. Your ability to be humble, and appreciate this guy's talent, and not hating on him, makes me respect you even more. Not forgetting or overlooking your incredible talent too. Thanks for these videos. Keep them coming
thank you so much Jeffrey!
@@66Samus you are more than welcome.🙂
There are people that hate on pure talent? That sounds like a them problem!
People hating on the dude don't even have 5% of his skill
I love his snare tone, and it also serves to show off just how crisp he is at those speeds.
I noticed he always has like a 4 or 6 pound weight on the head. I don't see too many people put weight on the snare head.
I saw the weight. But what’s the thing on the snare at 11:00? Looks like a cowbell or block? No idea..😂
It's a marching drum tone. Both heads extremely tight for the rebound, weight added probably because the lugs couldn't take any more. As skilled as he is, his playing would suffer with a looser head with a fatter sound.
This guy is already a legend. I dare anyone to criticize his playing in any way
@@slickstringsShut up he's literally one of (If not THE) best drummers in the world rn, criticizing him is illegal
best reaction so far. we need a new reaction for the new year.. i laughed so hard as well. great stuff and HNY!
that one song at 11:32 with the call & response is a part that avenged sevenfold drummer The Rev wrote. its such a sick piece man. glad you liked that.
That is pure skill ! Even a robot with AI would be staring at him and will end up taking drumming lessons.
I don't remember what video it was, but at one point he sticks a drum key on a lug and uses it to gravity blast his cowbell 🤯
This guy quit school and a band/gigs to straight up play drums 247 This dude is no joke he is by far the greatest drummer right now making money off social media.
Grande Estepario, aprendió a tocar la batera con una sola mano para poder fumarse los tronchos tranquilo
Love the way you are keeping it real. Been drumming all my life and am Loving watching this guy innovate. He would be a great drum instructor with his win win attitude. Call me a fan!
Both of you guys are my favorite drummers and have been for quite some time now
He has a recent upload talking about his setup that you might find interesting also. It super details all the work he has had to do to get the incredible sounds out of his Yahmaha EAD10. I woulud have never known that his hi hat is 2x crashes. It is worth a watch.
I watched him playing with the band Saratoga last august and it was totally mindblowing! The songs that he has to play are tricky as hell (specially Dani's ones) and he was like a f*** time machine!
Clean, accurate, and at the speed of sound. So impressive.
Dude as much as I love EES drumming I laugh my head off to your reactions and humour.Much appreciated
Stumbled across your videos. Dude.... love your positivity, enthusiasm, and vibes. I can't stop watching these videos. I need more people like you in my life. Thank you so much for being you. (And I don't even like drums)
seriously thank you SO MUCH!!!!
No matter how good you can get, there will be always this dude who master the skill way beyond everything you can do.When I think about drums Alex Rüdinger, Larnell Lewis or Jorge coming to my mind.
And the really cool part is, that almost every other musician reacting is able to appreciate that . It is really common in music that we can enjoy their creativity and skill without any jealousy or hate.
Thats why i love music in general.
Dude! you are great! I just stumbled across your channel. I'm in!! Your content is naturally hallarious...because your simply an honist drummer. That guy is also absolutely amazing. Like ...was he born on a drum stoll ?
That 11:20 double bass fill is actually in the studio recorded version of the song, written by The Rev himself! RIP! I love these reactions man, so entertaining!
What I LOVE ❤️ about EES is….. He does not give a single fuck what anybody thinks. I think he the best in his craft. He is ALREADY so fucking ridiculously good, but yet he still practice’s his NUTS off. So much respect.
Truly think he is the best drummer of our generation, I have ever heard! Clean, extremely fast, accurate, creative, versatile , insane!
His muscle memory is the best I’ve ever seen, not just drumming, but in anything!
I bet he gives his wife unlimited orgasms within in just a minute with how fast he is
Love this reaction..ive been watchin both of yr channels and i must say im a. Big Fan!! El E.S. deserves all the credit u could tell the man puts in alot of practice time...im.glad i found your channels
He, drinks or does something with his left hand to show the haters it is not speeded up. Makes me ashamed of all these hours I sit watching El Estepario Sibariano videos rather than sitting on my own throne. He is one in a million, and is so humble, he did a vid where he showed all of us; his talents are down to the amount of time and pratcice you put in, and of course natural talent.
natural talent is bs haha, he just practices everyday
Maybe 1 in a Billion
@@caut5618you’ve been breathing your entire life and I doubt you could even do that as well as dude drums.
Every single video he brings out is an absolute insane banger. I refuse to believe he's human at this point.
Dude, you are a BEAST on drums, and your reactions to this guy is priceless! Great stuff yo...
thank you!!
Bro he’s so good and how you show love is fucking awesome. Much love and respect to you sir
The snare speed is from MASS tension and dampening. Similar to a marching snare. Sans Kevlar (Maybe not?)
Most likely, he uses a tough batter head and tightens it to maximum tension, but notice that he always has some kind of object (weight) on his snare.
Been a sub of El Estapario for a good year and he is an absolute machine. Great to see an awesome drummer appreciate an awesome drummer.
now i can quit Internet, i´ve seen it all... he´s the G.O.A.T.
Just found this guy's channel and holy crap! Favorite reactions and break downs of this kind by far!
thank you!!!
I've found myself reluctantly binge-watching your content for the past 4 days, and I can't stop laughing. Typically, I'm not one for reaction videos, but your comedic timing and uncanny ability to narrate exactly what we're all thinking-like providing a hilarious commentary track to the funniest home video-hits the mark every time.
I look forward to seeing your future growth and success.
thank you so much dude!!!!
@@66Samusyou’re one of my favorite drummers and you inspire me so much, thank you 😁❤️
You know that moment when you can't stop lolling because what you are watching is so insane, ludicrous and you just know you ain't never ever going to be able to copy it, even with 6 hands 'n' legs?.........I loved it, & apart from the obvious skills, his arms across the kit are liquid and most importantly of all, he's having a blast, literally', playing. Just AWESOME!!
This dude is phenomenal and always puts a smile on my face. Those quick fills he does one handed is bonkers.
He makes a show and mock the haters (deserved), but is appreciable that he gives advices and explain how to do all that shit going on.
Samus.... This fella is an anomaly in the matrix of physics and drumming universe.... What you do is in magnitude more than I can I achieve👍👍
Honestly, El, could open a blackhole and consume everyone at the rate he is progressing.... Its out of control😮
It's unfair how fucking good he is.
Samus is always so happy for everyone in his videos I love it!
Blast beating the entire drumkit… With one hand!
This guy is insane!
Thank you for my favorite video on UA-cam! I watch this at leat twice a day!
This is some real anime level playing...like a super saiyan drummer or "One Stick Man". Awesome!
11:25 this part is in the actual song. It’s called “Blinded in Chains” and the Rev wrote that call and response drum part
That was my favourite part of the video. never heard much Ax7 but that was sick,
I know I'm a year late, but this dude is insane. Making blast beats, triplets, ECT with just one hand is ridiculous. 😅😅
He is one of the cleanest drummers I’ve ever seen/herd
This guy could play 2 shows at once, what a legend!
This guy is amazing! I love that Samus (as a master of the drums himself) is reacting with laughter instead of hatred, shows his ability to have fun! I would love to see this master drummer cover a tech death song like something from Necrophagist or Archspire.....with one hand!
Going to see part one straight away cause this is insane
Just sitting here for 30 minutes after the video ends, and at some point I'll pick my jaw up off the floor 🤣🤣
This guy is just straight fire! It isn't talent, it's raw dedication and skill. It's fucking amazing!
DO IT :)
All I could think when you were bowing was wayne and garth! "We're not worth, we're not worthy!" 😂
He is literally the best drummer alive. No question!
Dudes so effortlessly badass it's wild man.
My dad is an AMAZING drummer. I rarely see guys I think are better.
This guy is so much better its wild. Lol
