When I was a kid I had a Pokémon CD and a Yu-Gi-Oh! CD and I spent sooo much time listening to them both! It’s such a big part of the experience for me I guess 🥰
Thanks to your DB react I have at least two sunshines a week ! :D Tao Pai Pai is one of the earliest villains of DB who made great impression on me as a kid in the late 80's, and I know I'm not the only one ! Even Eichiro Oda himself said so ! He even told Toriyama he was impressed by the way he drew his hands. You can also see in different media the influence Tao Pai Pai had on the public, like the character of Lau in Virtua Fighter games, or Uonuma Usui in the Rurouni Kenshin manga (and his author Nobuhiro Watsuki never hide it), for example ! :)

By the way, Oda also said in this interview that he was also impressed by Lanfan's armpit !😁
What I always dont get about muten roshi is that his character he shows when he is serious doesnt match his sex offender style he has at all. He talks smack about using martial arts to defend people and mastering the art of peace but then assaults women like 30 times a day. Somebody who gives himself as having a high moral code shouldnt do stuff like that but in the end all of that is just weird "comedic" relief
It’s funny because it’s ironic that in the end he’s just a skebe old jiji 🤣 he’s flawed and that makes him more interesting. Yes the jokes are over the top but that’s what sometimes makes it funny. If some slips on a banana peel or falls in any situation they could seriously get hurt. But when it happens on cartoons we laugh because no one gets hurt, it’s not real.
I believe the implication at Goku's dream is that he was having a wet dream XD. Im not sure what it says in Japanese, but the spanish version says "Bulma esa no es mi cola" which means "Bulma thats not my tail" after which he is laughing. But I dont really recall the sources so its not necesarily true.
Doesnt make sense cause Goku at that point didn't understand that those Moments were sexual, for him it we're funny nemories with his weird friend (i mean for his perspective)

Well, I don't think a dub's implications override the original. Goku's just not the type of character who'd have that sorta dream
