The rancor we are suffering today is tearing the country apart and it is caused by the extreme viewpoints the opposing sides have. When I was a kid, the Democrats and Republicans acted like real politicians bringing compromise to the table. There was a give and take in the legislature; not any more.

There is an age when they learn to walk for instance. Politics isn't in the schedule. Neither is deciding their own sex.
