    Let me know -- what time tracker would you add to this list? Or which of these is your favorite?

    This is by far the best in-depth review on time tracking solutions I've seen!
    And this even I am deeply into time tracking for years. (I am building a time tracker myself with my team, called timeBuzzer)
    After watching the entire video (yes, the entire 46 minutes), I'm overwhelmed by the complexity of most of the tools.
    It's great to have all these features, but what good is it if the product ends up being so complex that you need a PhD to use it?
    Also, if nobody records time because it's too clunky and causes too much friction, many of those features are useless anyway.
    Sure, you could add even more features to "force" people to record time, but we don't think that's how time tracking should be.
    Time tracking really needs to become simpler, more natural and more user-friendly.
    Your video gave me even more confidence that we're on the right track. Thank you!
    Maybe one day you'll review timeBuzzer too. I'd be happy!

    You didn’t test Clockify. Why not?

      Great point! In hindsight, I wish we would have included Clockify!

    I use Wave Accounting. Makes me wondering about the integrations.

    I really like Timely. Because it addresses the core of the problem. People don’t want to keep clicking, to start and to finish a task. Just run on the background.

    Aside from work time tracking. I think I'm looking for a habit tracking app

    Do you know if/which of these programs have the ability to send reports out to your clients on a set schedule?

    • @LaylaPomper
      @LaylaPomper  5 місяців тому

      Ah-yes. There are a few that send reports. Were you able to watch the video? I do bring up reports :)

    I personally only used Toggl. It was easy to navigate and very low friction to use. When I needed to invoice it was easy to export and attach as a pdf. It was pre AI and automation world. I just wanted a simple time tracker, nothin fancy. I stopped paying when I took a break from freelancing. Would pay again if I decided to go back.
