More people watching this would really advance the blob meta because this video eloquently demonstrates how ineffective and actually counterproductive bombs and fires are against the blob. Mass production of welders, placing emitters strategically, relocating rechargers, and cargo ordering laser rifles kill the blob.
Whenever there's a blob I always go full emitter. It's amazing how much some bozo with insuls and a hardsuit, a construction bag full of emitter boards and wires, some stacks of metal and a bluespace RPED full of parts can do to make the blob's life hell.
yeah the number 1 pain i've seen other blobs have trouble with is just a bunch of well placed emitters slicing the blob in two it takes them forever to actually push past mass emitter

Gaming. Also Livrah, it's OK not to upload often. You're pretty awesome, mate! Keep yourself safe and warm during winter rather than trying to please stupid internet people.
Lets be honest. Having a solid, interesting and entertaining round on SS13 is often a dice roll. Sometimes you might have the tenacity to have an interesting round but often it's the make up of the rest of the crew that dictates if that tenacity will actually pay off. The fact that this guy has as many great situations to make a video series out of it is pretty impressive.
@@LivrahYT hey livrah, how do you make a 1-way chute disposal that leads to an exit chute, like you go in one chute, come out the other, but if you come in the other, the result is the same if you go in the starting chute, i refer to your disposal trap from Shitpost13 - monketrap.
Y'know, I never thought about how a station with multiple z-levels would affect some game modes and how the experienced players will change up their approach strategy to deal with the new hindrances. Being funneled into a handful of ladders to enter the arena seems like quite an obstacle and that really showed in this video. I can only imagine how many Blob rounds result in a Blob win on Tramstation considering its massive length on two z-levels. Throwing bombs down a hole in the floor onto your core was pretty smart, although I think a better idea would be to equip everyone with welders and have the zerg drop down right on top of the core and melee it to death before the Blob player can react in time.
@@pallingtontheshrike6374 Yeah I figured people should know by now that bombing is completely ineffective against Blob. Still though, it can be a bit tricky to get the logistics right for passing around laser rifles. A lot of people don't listen to comms during station-wide threats or they get completely spammed out (or the latter is the reason for the former). Livrah was really good at rushing down the ladders, so getting emitters online and protected would not have been easy without coming in from the snowy outside. Still, the lack of teamwork by the Crew is ultimately what got them killed. Nothing new to see here!
Never thought I'd see a blob video from you, but this was a joy as always to watch! This is why captains job is to stand by the self destruct, readying to initiate self destruct scorch earth if defeat is imminent. Better one station than a hundred.
Great job consuming the station! P.s. networked fibers strain is extremely strong and hard to kill, try them next time! They can only expand manually, but while doing so, core/node moves onto tile to expand, leaving blob tile behind, also it deals high damage(both brute and burn) and has faster resource generation
Livrah, your editing style is genuinely the best I've seen in SS13. You could release a video of you idling in a bar, just watching whatever goes down, and I would be entertained.
