The best to expect from taal are fewer explosive eruptions unlike 2020, I believe the next time of eruption is somewhere within 3 decades from now, although we cannot predict a caldera, as sudden magma intrusions may lead into sudden phreatic explosions, phreatic explosions are usually unpredictable because it is groundwater coming into contact with magma, which in return flashes into steam and erupts. meaning anytime a magma intrusion could hit groundwater, causing an explosion.
