as a person who cleared Dalion with LC augments, yes you dont need BiS augments. You just need to get lucky and get carried by 3 other players who has BiS augments.😅 Jokes aside. If you really don't want to be dead weight, build 2 more units dedicated to potency floor to swap when enter cannon phase, you want to have 70%+ floor potency. Grand dread keeper LC, Deftness IV, Dolz soul III, Alno note, Mastery LC, Highkvar domina LC. These are all augments i use on cannon units. I recommend you use unit that give high HP if you want to be more comfortable during cannon phase. Swap back to your normal units at the end of cannon phase. Other things to keep in mind is, try to finish phase 1-2 with 8 minutes remaining and enter final phase with more then 3 minutes remaining.
I think one of the only reasons I’m able to complete DFD with my current gear is that it is balanced and I’m able to stay alive. I don’t like the idea of people carrying me tho so I wana keep getting stronger.
It's funny that you say that LC is enough with a wingard falate 5, with all the stronger augments... that just tells me that 1- you only play in a closed group and should never have been in the public queue to come face to face with the atrocities that are seen there. 2- you have no idea about dps or the minimum dps to do the dalion, so you're just a crutch on your team :p I challenge you the following keropii do 10 runs in the public queue without any team and take a look at the equipment of the people you will meet, I'm sure you will change your opinion after doing this :D
I just started doing the ARKS Records a few weeks ago and I definitely am having fun with it! Watching your score go up is cool. I'm definitely not top 100 lol but when I beat my PB it's always nice. "Glass cannon" is much easier to run as a Ranger since you've got a wealth of i-frames and can maintain distance when you need it.
Another reason to hang onto armors. Kero has built these armors over time. It would be super expensive to continuously argument armors to that level. I have Einea Vio/Vidas and I'm building them up slowly. I'm currently at 173.4 potency and 69% damage adjustment. These Eineas will be my armors until they are totally obsolete. I have a balanced build and can take a hit or two.
I mostly look into the fashion, creative space and just doing the pse bursts and ltq. If I get a new weapon or armor, I only spend meseta on upgrading them to level 80 and getting the exdi augments. All my other augments is going to be lc.
As I play Ranger, I don't mind using glass cannon builds, because I can use the class's dodges well. Of course, I'm not going to focus on these expensive aguments. Simply because there is not yet a system for transferring aguments. What's more, my focus is more on customizing my character, and completing missions. Have I finished Dalion? Very good! I don't care if I finished fast or slow! Also, there's the aggravating factor that I'm not a gamer who spends 999999999999999 hours on PC, because I have other things to do, like work! And yet, it's been a few years since I gave up this thing of farming endlessly to have "top tier" equipment. It's not worth the effort, because with each update the game forces you to grind again, and again, and again.... Nothing against those who do this, but for me, I don't want this life! It's great the "mid tier" build that my character is in at the moment!
Going glasscannon on ranger is not good. Maim job from ranger is not doing dps, you first job is try to maintain blight round purple at all time, and sometimes it means you actually have to take that damage, and in rare cases, you die to maintain that blightround (personally I switch to codeck when I needed to do that and then switch back to my main weapon). You do nof defensive augments, but you certainly do not want guaro triyals that makes you super squishy.
@@delightXD It may be my insistence, but so far, the build I use is doing really well so far! Because my sidesteps (using the grenades) are doing very high critical damage. Of course, run the risk of instant death, but just learn the timing of the enemy's attacks and keep the purple marking full time and i'll be calm. However, if you want to use other, safer builds, no problem! But in my case, I like a bit of a challenge!🤣

Got my wingard saber with a termina 2 doing decent DPS my potency 177.2% so might be higher tomorrow maybe time and waiting for me right now and I still have my octo arga still I'll be waiting for the gear transfer system when it releases so I'll be waiting
If you are mainly focusing on doing DFD then wix is your top chooce, but if you do PSE burst with Xover, Wix is the worst fixa if you doing PSE burst as a ranger. Personally I am using fixa wix rifle as my main weapon, and I use fixa unwix harmonizer while doing PSE.

Wouldn't an augment transfer system collapse the augment market? Seems like sega perfers folks having to regear every 4-6 months and it would really hurt the grinder if folks didn't have to grind out to upgrade new gear. It's a nice dream though.
It's not a dream, though. They already mentioned augment transfer is coming a couple Headlines ago. Augment transfer passes exist in base pso2 and it didn't kill anything

Im not exactly sure how much is the decent enough point of potency or not but i did managed to upgrade all my gear at least properly with the current boosts but i could only do so much with my budget 😂
You don't need BiS gear and augments, that's true. There are enough players who farm or buy BiS together to help the LC players in ultra-hard content, but you'll notice it hard if you're the only one who has full BiS or mostly BiS gear. It rarely becomes a clear with 3 or even 4 LC players. Here I would like SEGA to maybe make an elite matchmaking where you only get in if you have completed the latest ultra-hard content 50 times. The loot is different in Elite matchmaking. Higher drop rate for ultra rare weapons and high-end capsules drop. Btw. your gear is Full BiS. Tyral is not BiS.

I don't know. BIS shouldn't be a luxury in any MMO. That tells me that there either isn't any meaningful endgame content aside from gearing or its pay2win garbage. NGS unfortunately both of those.

I will agree with the time respect being an issue. It’s not everything, but some things, yes. I’m in no rush to get BiS augments so that doesn’t apply for me there. I never care for the absolute best weapon available either. The one below is always just fine. However, titles…. And a few other things…. Really bad.

I still use LC capsules, and for what I do, it works perfectly. Would I like BIS? Yes, I would. Is it too expensive? Also yes.
I have fatale 2 on xover rifle is that ok or should i switch to wix 2 or unwix 2 i have fixa transfer available.

A little bit. Base had augment transfers and BiS affixes still went for a pretty penny(Pre-Cradle of course)
