      Feet hurt from wearing them heels is my guess

      Perhaps for the same reason Patricia Kopatchinskaja performs barefoot? "If I weren't touching the ground, I would just fly away." (Paraphrase, but that's the thought: many musicians are literally ravished by the music.)
