On the 27th of August 2023, Steamrail Victoria operated a series of shuttles between Hurstbridge and Eltham for the annual Hurstbridge Wattle Festival. Held on the last Sunday of August every year, the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival is a festival in which the Wattle Tree is celebrated and many people come to celebrate.
