I always say everything is boiled down to being led by the Spirit meaning you actively are hearing what God is telling you do in the moment. If you are not in intimate relationship with him it is not likely you will hear what the Spirit is telling to do. I agree with being in band makes things a little more difficult.
Man I've been in a position when the worship turned into a prophetic atmosphere and the drummer kept hitting the symbols specifically the crash symbols and that whole moment was gone.
Did the drummer 🥁 realize what happened? Did it happen often?
@@hearandplay I didn't get the chance to speak with him after service but no he didn't and yes it did happen often, when he was on the drums he wasn't looking at me at all he was just in his own world.

Lovely
Amen. This is key!!
Agreed
***ATTENTION BRO & SIS*** How does connecting the GOD FACTOR in your life and your playing change things for you?🙏🙏🙏😇
The GOD FACTOR is the beginning, middle, and end of what I do. He gives me the gift to play, and so every time I pick up my instrument, I am giving back a portion of what He gave to me.
@@nataliebullock9475 Praise God! Well said!
Maybe I'm old school but I don't look at this as any "God Factor", I still believe in the old outdated and laughable thing called *Holiness.* When you strive for Holiness, you'll have the relationship, the factor, the flow, all that in one. But I recently realized that now we have real *GOSPEL* musicians, and then those who just play music in the Gospel genre. One plays to minister whilst also having a real relationship with God, while one just plays the chords to the popular songs, but does not strive to live Holy in any way. My point with this is I just don't follow the term "God Factor." If all of the musicians have the Holy Ghost and you are striving to live Holy then flowing as a musician is a small small part of what it will do in your life!

MAN.....THAT'S TOUGH!!!!
