I dented my tailgate on my 21, ive found that the tailgate applique will cover it perfectly and look cool. Ive only heard terrible things about the cheap ones so might just bite the bullet and buy the name brand airstream one or whatever it is. Yours turned out nice tho
Air designs is the name of that company and I’ve worked with their products in the past and they are great. If you want something hassle free, I would definitely recommend them. Mine is great but took a lot of work to make work.
Not for me personally, but I do say it would look much better if you can get the black plastic on your rear bumper and your black bed rails to be the same shade of black as the applique. The bed rails and bumper are more gray than the applique and if you can get them darker to match would look solid.
Yeah it’s a small piece that I think will be like a cherry on top later. But I’m gonna do off road front and rear bumpers and black wrap so there will be more black on the truck in the future. Thank you for watching and commenting!

So I bought the same one and after receiving it, I saw how little that lip was and I found your video and did exactly what you did with the 3-D pen. My question is did you use any of the superglue that they provided by putting it on your tailgate or did you just use the tape that you found? Also, did you wrap it after you put it on or before and how do I learn how to wrap something? Oh, and by the way, thanks for the video. It helped a lot.

Yes! That’s actually what I’m going to do. But I’m gonna wait till I get my off road front and rear bumpers that way the whole bottom half of my truck is black.
That'll tie things together nicely. What about the black roof? I rather liked this in the pictures. Yours would be vinyl. If you don't like it peel it off.

I doubt it will fit but I’m sure that they make one for that year.
How long have you had it on with the double sided tape? How has it held up?

Dude, get a raptor instead of making your regular f150 look like one
The crazy thing to me is. Why does it matter to the point where you feel the need to comment negatively about it ? Do you have a raptor and your upset people make their trucks look like them? Or are you just being a douche ? The fact that you think you can tell people what to make their truck not look like is insane itself.
It’s a channel predominantly based on Ford trucks and different mods for those trucks. He was simply showing a mod you can add if you are into that type of thing. I don’t think he did it for everyone to like it.
You seen how much the raptor Rs are going to be? I want a raptor for looks that I wish could tow. I feel him on building one from an F150. Besides fun fact the 5.0 is still Fords leader in reliability and that's trumping the 6.7 meanwhile the 5.2 is at the bottom of the list only above the old 6.0. I'll gladly give up .2L and phenomenal suspension just for looks, more power, and the ability to still tow.

This is a v8 Raptor build, a v6 Raptor goes for about 120k in my area. And it’s a v6 which is fine but now what I want. I can build my truck into a Raptor for a total of about 90k plus it’ll be supercharger with 775hp plus it’ll be able to do everything a Raptor can do. Plus it’ll be race red which is a color you can’t get in a Raptor anymore. And idk if you notice but I didn’t even put the Raptor badge on, just the Ford and the f-150.
