If Chiesa would be fine with Chukwueze level salary, then he would be worth the risk as a squad player as he definitely has the talent and mentality. Obviously he's not the same as during Euro 2020, but he can still come good. Also, he would be a Italian trained player who would help with registration rules.
I think Daniel Boloca from Sassuolo would be a great pivot- signing if we miss out on Fofana. one of the best defensive midfielders in the league imo and Sassuolo would probably be open to sell for a decent price following their relegation.
another player we should have a look at is Mandela Keita from Antwerp, who would be an even better option if we want a more physical, defensive midfielder. amazing in possession and his main strenghts are defensivly. could really do well in that Kessie-role that we’re yet to replace
Chiesa is great for such a low price. He showed wordlclass performances in the past. Even prime messi wouldve looked bad in that juventus team. Getting chiesa would be great to even move leao to striker for some minutes and chiesa being on the left wing would be such a ferocious attack

Salemakers for chiesa swap … honestly if anything Milan might say no to it at this point. Salemakers is a better option off the bench as a defensive winger when you think about it… also chiesa would be higher wages .. injury history…. Would actually be a fair swap at the end of the day

I hope Motta is tempted to reunite with Saelemaekers. It might be a way to cut down the price and have a great winger in rotation.
I’d just keep Saelemakers. He would also be more open to being a sub than Chiesa, also less wages.

Morata, Emerson Royal, Pavlovic, Fofana… if we can upgrade Pobega with Ricci (who would be an ideal understudy for Bennacer and he can also just straight replace him next season if he develops enough, I think Bennacer will go to Saudi after this season) and of course an ST that is not Abraham. Go for J.David for same price of Konate from Salzburg way better potential than constantly injured Abraham who we don’t even know if he can reach his past levels

Terracciano looked horrible. I don’t even understand why Milan signed him. Torriani on the other hand was brilliant and he should be the 3rd choice keeper.
I don’t think Pioli would have given him a chance and that’s already a good sign from Fonseca because Torriani is not even the starting keeper for the primavera team.
He’s not even 2nd choice either. So kudos to Fonseca. As for preseason, Fonseca is already showing that he has a game-plan and a style of play that works. Chukwueze, Thiaw and Musah will improve under Fonseca.
No to Chiesa. Talk about having a bad injury record, well Chiesa is the most injured outfield player in Serie A. Not worth it. We don’t need him.
I don’t believe the numbers reported on Milan’s offers to Monaco are accurate.
Also, juventus are having problems signing players and they can’t get the Koopmieners deal done. They also lost Todibo to West Ham United.
Juventus are also having problems with getting rid of players too. Napoli is going through the same thing with offloading and signing players. So it’s not just Milan who having problems with signing players and offloading players this mercato.
These negotiations take time and we have to wait until the end of mercato to make any judgement.

23:00 Why wouldn't we still need wingers? Saelemakers is your only bench winger since it seems like both Pulisic and Chuku will be first team players. Chiesa would add that amazing depth that even with injuries, we wouldn't be short of wingers. Chiesa for Italy is amazing and we can't just expect Chuku to be THE GUY just because he has had purple patches throughout the season & pre-season. To win something serious, you need reliable, consistent players & Chiesa adds that depth that even if he's not consistent, Chuku can come in and be as electric as him on that right wing.
