I put here the timecodes of the differents steps : 0:00 : Introduction 1:26 : New - Initialise. 2:00 : Data parameters - Define model parameters. 3:36 : System screen - Define used state variables. 5:05 : Segments screen - Define segments. 7:12 : Flows screen > Chanel Geometry - Define geometric informations. 9:07 : Flows screen > Surface Water - Connect the segments. 12:51 : Boundaries and Loads - Define the concentration of the state variables. 16:08 : Time functions - Define time functions. 19:23 : Parameters - Assign the time functions to the appropriate segments. 22"22 to 28"36 : Time functions & Parameters (again). 28:36 : Constants - Set the kinetic constants. 31:48 : Save 32:06 : Output control 33:56 : Execute - Run 34:29 : WRDB Graph - Introduction to post-processing.
Hi, I've tried to run the model using the excel example file and WASP 8, I got zero depths, so the calculated segments vol were zeros as a result. I got the same results (zeros) after trying to set the volumes manually. any help will be highly appreciated
Can anyone help me with the copy pasting the environmental variables "solar radiation" from the spreadsheet to time function in WASP. I'm trying to follow Tim in all steps but the outcome for the step involving copy pasting time funcions from the spread sheet. The outcome is different to the one in the video. I am using WASP version 8.32. I'm unable to figure out what the issue could be.
You have to take care about the date format. On the Excel spread sheet the date format must be mm/jj/aaaa hh:mm (but appear as jj/mm/aaaa hh:mm in WASP). It is maybe the reason why the outcome is different.
in the example excel file we have an initial depth of 1.8 and a minimum depth of 1.8 it might be the reason why we get a zero for the depth and volume. Ithink that the minimum depth should be set 0.18 to get the same answers
Hi I had the same problem, I am not sure what seems to be the problem. But I just opened the tutorial and copied the table directly from the WASP8 tutorial and copied them to my tutorial. I suspect excel cell properties are to blame.

Thanks,very useful!
How can I do for water quality modeling for metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury?
At 4:09 Why should we use 2 BOD groups? Can we just use 1 BOD group?
why can't I do a longitudinal profile plot? in the written notification there is no rivermile variable.. Please help me, I'm using WASP 8.4.0
how come that my column of depth multiplier is not sensitive?

Anyone else having issues with finding the BMD2 file and opening the results? Mine doesn't seem to be generating this file.
haloo, i think i found a problem like you. Have you found a way?

Hi, where can I download the WRDB Graph?
Hi Tim, Can you upload excel file you used as well, please?
how to add nonpoint load on wasp?
Hi! Do you know how do that? I have the same question
When I follow it, it runs but always says that the depth is 0. Anyone know what's the reason?
the segment depth is 0 and so the volume is 0 and it cannot keep on running.
I am not able to paste excel data to time constant
Can anyone help

you should check your date indices. for ex 8.10.2021 to 8/10/2021. and i am done
who knows how use WASP build simple 2D model?
