Wow! @1.15 I think the Reg on the 747 says G-CIVT. That's the same plane that I flew to Vegas in back in Feb this year (flying from LHR) Didn't realise it had paid a visit to my home town, amazing! Wish they would come up here more often - Love the B747s!
Haha me and my mate were standing at the mound just out of frame to the right at 8:23 when u filmed this. I think you can just see a wee figure on the mound (me) at the end when u zoom out as the Emirates rolls. haha. if i remember rightly, when the snow started (as the Emirates taxied) it didnt stop for another two weeks lol.

So what happened to 1216 upon landing??
Probaly a silly question but why land at glasgow and not nearer an airport closer to heathrow or gatwick which may be open?

Not sure how to take such a ridiculous comment! Virgin put a 747 through GLA every weekend of the summer flying out to Orlando Florida.
3 Airports in Scotland can take 747's they are Edinburgh , Glasgow and Prestwick.
