Stephtastic! I don't even like Westbrook but he is by far better than curry the only thing curry got on Westbrook is he can shoot better that's it!! If he had to carry a team like Westbrook that team would be doomed
The man is averaging a triple double, putting 3 stats into double figures over an 82 game stretch is remarkable. People need to realize how difficult that is.
You also need to realize every MVP was in the top 3 to 4 seed. We are talking about who is more valuable to their team and is actually talking their team somewhere
Karr S he says every time how he loves watching Westbrook play he doesn't like it all the time with him shooting too much but he doesn't hate on Westbrook
I haven't been able to follow the NBA this year because of work and my friend told me last week "you know Westbrook is averaging a triple double?" My reply was like for the week and he said no for the season. My jaw dropped to the ground. Knowing the history of the game and how difficult it is to average a triple double, Westbrook deserves the MVP.
lakers1234 yes it does.....klay Thompson is a 3rd option on his team and basically doesn't get any assists or rebounds. Jeremy lon hasn't played a lot of games so his per is inflated also he has the ball way more than klay. Lou Williams is the best sixth man in the league and he got good stats on a bad team so his is also inflated
lakers1234 I hate these advanced state. even regular stats are overblown nowadays you can't take them seriously anymore. With all these 3's and no defence kobe would average 30 in his sleep. mj would put up about 35 each year and hit 40 a few times. So don't go on comparing players of this generation to the previous ones. Russ lebron kawhi harden KD are great. steph can shoot so he's great although overrated. PG can still be great waiting on him
PER has no account for actual efficiency. It is based solely on things like points, rebounds and assists, which are the places Russel is excelling in. It really isn't that great of a stat
PER is a calculation based on production in PTS, AS, REBS, counted against your turnovers and field goal efficiency then adjusted for pace. Its actually a great stat to use when trying to figure out the value of a player in comparison to someone with a similar role on another team. Klay is low in PER because his role doesn't allow him to show up in those categories the way he would if he was on a team like the Kings. You can't use PER alone you have to use the eye-test and context.
2015-2016 season - steph made a history 400 threes in a single season first unaminous mvp ever 2016-2017- westbrook the triple double machine and james harden, kawhi, lebron leading their teams damn man we are so blessed we get to see this superhumans
In the 1987-88 season when Jordan won his first MVP and defensive player he actually averaged 35 points the stats you are referring to are from his 1988-89 season where Magic Johnson won the MVP and Mark Eaton won the defensive player of the year even though Jordan had his best season stats wise.
Shannon stop it.. You can tell the people who never played basketball in real life.. It's funny how people try to down play what Russell Westbrook is doing but you ask any player who played in the nba say they never seen this before unless your Bill, Oscar and all the other OG,s. This is not 2k lmao. This Generation Is Delusional y'all taking to many drugs because to down play history is just plan stupid. Some of y'all couldn't get a triple double if it was three on one..Lmao. This is not 2k lmao.
+Steven Stevenson Playing for stats every player plays for stats. lmao. So you get drafted get on a team but your not suppose to do anything Lmao. Let's see how long you'll be in the nba. Stat padding this generation play to many video games..
OdeeLocc Sports Info first of all you're the one bringing up video games, lol. Players play to win, not just for stats. And you saying I wouldn't last in the NBA is just a moronic statement....
So what your saying people don't play for big contracts then. Because to get big money you have to have goodstats. So you saying people playing for low contacts. tongji.gov.cn - 新田统计信息网
2022 and look at this clowns opinion about Russ now. Can the fans finally see that all these guys do is say anything that will get them clout and popularity? Is it cool to hate on Russ in 2022? Yes. So now ALL THEY DO is hate on him.
Ali Kobaissi I agree it's not any small feat of averaging a triple double. But that still doesn't make you the most valuable player. Lebron is currently averaging 26/9/9 on 55% from the field and 38% from 3. And is the 1 seed. Meanwhile Westbrook is averaging 3/10/10 on 41% from the field and 30% from 3. While being the 6th seed. Who would you take? And before you bring up Lebron having a better team I agree. But that just shows how much better and efficient Lebron is compared to Westbrook. He's had the lowest usage rate in his career this year. And he's still doing better then Russell. Also just FYI I think harden should be MVP, him or lebon. Westbrook is 3rd, Kahwi 4th, and IT is 5th
Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwayne Wade have had 10 triple doubles in 2,682 games combined. Russell Westbrook has had 10 in the last 12 games. Russell Westbrook is the first player in NBA history with 5 straight 30 point triple doubles. Russell Westbrook is the first player in NBA history with multiple 6 game streaks of obtaining a triple double. When Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double there were 58 MORE opportunities to get a rebound. Russell Westbrook is the MVP and it's not close.
This is very debatable! The season Russ is having right now in unbelievable. You could say the Big O had a great single season as well as other players but the talent and athletes in today's game is much greater than when he played and averaged a triple double.
Steph Curry had one of the greatest regular seasons of all time last year in 2015-16. First player to average 30+ PPG while shooting 50-45-90. Took over 800 3's but still made 45% of them. Won scoring title, lead the league in steals. You can make fun of them all you want for the playoffs, but you can't take away what they did in the regular season.
He is having a MVP level season especially considering the fact that he is surronded by role players at best, and at the PG spot he is facing off against elite players on a nightly basis including elite PG's such as Kyrie, Wall, Walker, Lowry, and Thomas just to name a few
If u never played competitive basketball u won't understand the stamina and heart u have to have to do wat wb is doing night after night not a fan but I respect this man as a basketball player
This dude Shannon just be talking don't he? Lol, All season long, "Get to the 5th Seed and you'll be my MVP." Today, "Seeds only matter in a garden." Aight Fam, you got it 👍🏾 Lol
I would still say Curry's season last year was greater. 50-45-90. 402 threes. 73-9. Basically unstoppable offensively. The question is what is "great". I wouldn't say getting 10+ rebounds a game (especially when they are mostly defensive) is anything great. His 10+ assists are pretty amazing but I wouldn't say it is something phenomenal. The idea of averaging a TB is amazing but it's just blatantly obvious that WB's TBs are chased to a degree, in other words the difficulty of achieving a TB for RW is significantly lower NOT because RW is Godlike but because of how his team is playing and how he plays which results in RW being able to get TBs conveniently easier than other superstars. Last season Steph put fear into the opposition the moment he stepped passed half court. If I am the opponent I would rather face this season's RW than last season's Steph Curry. Like it's not even a debate that 15-16 Curry would demolish you if he was hot, he didn't even need the rest of his team to play good to win the game when he was hot.
MJ's 96 season, LBJ's 2013 season, and Curry's 2016 season were all easily better. His PER is so high because rebounds are weighed heavily, PER is a very poor stat with easy loopholes, if you dip in to the advanced states I.e. Offensive/Defensive Rating you will see he is the most inefficient superstar in the NBA and add that along with shooting 42% and 5.4 TO.
Not counting team success (while OKC will have none), MJ 87-88 season was the best ever. 35-6-6 on 54% FG, first ever to 200 stl 100 blocks in a season for a 3.2 stl 1.6 block average. He swept the awards with MVP, Def player of the year and scoring title.
dozha deville You can't spell stupid, he's not having an amazing season at all, his team is the 6th seed and he's having the most inefficient season of his career since his rookie season. If you switched Westbrook and Durant, Durant wouldn't be averaging a triple double because he cares to much about efficiency, and the Thunder would be the 3rd or 4th seed instead of the 6th or 7th.
I wouldn't really praise anyone for having the biggest usage rate... OKC actually showed against the Spurs that they can be a very good at defense and strong finishing in the paint. They might be actually quite deadly for someone who isn't as athletic as them but their success goes with Russell's success. They win and loose depending on his game in the second half.
not the best ever though. Curry's season last year was far more better. 30.1 PPG, 6.7 APG,5.0 RPG. 73-9 record 2 other allstars and still averaged 30. 50/45/90 Did not play 24 4th quaters. Unanimous MVP 1 shot away from backtoback Championships. And came home with a trophy.
Hype Animal U schleep!! 1 They lost last year! 2 He falls apart EVERY playoffs when needed! 3 THAT WAS KLAY'S FUKKIN TEAM BOY!! Are u watching Russ games?? Dude is an Alien to these other players, EVEN LEBRON! Curry HAD the best season in a while, UNTIL THIS SEASON!!
+Doe-Z dude your an idiot. If klay cant be shut down why did he average only 15 points in the 2015 finals. Shooting around 30% from 3 ? You have no facts.
Wolfwarrior No it wasn't. Several players have shot 50-40-90 for the season b4 he did. And he barely led the league in steals. He tied with ricky rubio. Only gave it to him cause of 0.001 difference.
likemikegenerationx2 yeah but never off 3s... and he had the highest paint percentage amongst guards what are you smoking. he had MORE even if it is .001 smh you think its not the same in other sports foh
JUST ONE STATS you need .. when Russ goes out after first period for resting abit. Just look at the stats of the rest of the team. Just look at where he left and when he got back .. what was the score.. Russ is doing something historical.
Lebron plays the blame game way too much and whines for more players even though his team has the highest payroll in the league..I know he's the best player in the world but sheesh is he a lousy teammate off the court
Wilt's 50 and 25 season adjusted for *possessions of today* gives: *40 ppg and 20 rpg*. Wilt played on average MORE than every minute of every game in that season (because of OTs). That's a plus, not a minus. Wilt's PER in 61-62 and 62-63 seasons are the *TOP 2 PER Seasons of all time* . *Wilt had the best regular season of all time, even adjusted for today's possessions.*
I'm fr Houston and of course a rockets fan.. if u were to ask me 2 weeks ago I would of said harden cause he winning and he assisting more and shooting better. but man this few weeks Westbrook has been going off more and more even tho I believe unlike my rocktets thunders will be a first round bye.. but Westbrook right now is MVP
USeeMeTrolllin uh well i had harden number 2 for a while but think it's being a bit overrated, i mean 6 turnovers a game, his a assist to turnover ratio is terrible, plus kawhi is the only all-star on his team like harden but is a higher seed, plus that game where kawhi blocked hardens gaming winning shot attempt pushed him over for me. I don't deny harden is better at making his teammates teammates better though
AS A FAN OF BOTH russ and harden I have to give it to russel.. He just does everything for his team.. ofc he has the highest usage rate, and he manages to average double digit assists when his team generally can't score very well. Every possession requires him to play near perfect for okc to win, and he's doing just that (in terms of making plays, etc.)
rushking20 #TerribleTowels that man does not Statpad at all look up a video on most obvious statpadders ever and you'll see what statpadding is and his team wins 80% of his games when he has a trip dub
It's annoying to hear all the time that Westbrook does not have any help. If you look at their starting roster and bench, any team in the league would LOVE to have those players on their team. I agree that Westbrook does need a better 2nd shooting option, but to say Westbrook has no help in OKC is blasphemy.
hoboxjohn Those players are far from horrible but most starters in the NBA have some sorta of talent. Most people just state that OKC without Russ is clearly not a playoff team
No team would want them. Definitely not as starters. They're inconsistent for one like most young players. 2 they don't play well on the road like the majority of young players and even some veteran role players. 3 ALL of them can be countered easily. Very easily. Kanter for starters. Can't defend the pick and roll and is not a good defender period. Doesn't have court awareness or vision for someone as skilled in the low post as him. All you have to do is double him or send a help defender. He'll never see it coming. Oladipo...inconsistent and he doesn't put pressure on an opposing defense. Evidence he doesn't get to the line that often. He'll more than likely settle for a step back jumper. Adams...only has two moves in the post and is only a threat in the pick and roll
LeBron and Harden both have better help than Westbrook lol that's facts! LeBron has two all stars he can rely on and Harden has guys that can shoot 3's like crazy lol This is hard to decide who is the MVP this year between Westbrook and Harden tbh
Westbrook has a lot more competition... Has to match up against guys like Kyrie, Thomas, Wall, Walker, Lowry, etc just to name some of the main elite PG's in the NBA. Wilts only competition was really just Bill Russell and that's it
It's crazy how much people disrespect Wilt. He was going up against the Celtics year after year with arguably the greatest coach ever and they were STACKED with hall of famers. Wilt played almost every minute of every season for years in a game that was played at a much faster pace. Also, to shoot 40 shots a game and STILL shoot 50% from the field is absolutely ridiculous.
Currys last year was way better. his triple double is inflated. he doesn't defend 3's and go back on defense , and he go yank boards and the bigs in his team let him. highly padded stats.
6th place team should not have a regular season MVP. Get a first round home court advantage and the OKC team was projected to be placed higher than the Rockets in the beginning of the season.
It's meaningless now but no one was buying that Harden had a better team. Does Harden really have that leap of a team over Russell. He just making his team better than Russell imho.
Ppl have to acknowledge that if okc was in the east they could damn near be the first seed. They play the clippers warriors spurs Portland rockets grizzlies nuggets 4 times all playoff caliber teams and then teams like Nola 4 times and their not easy to beat cuz davis is a beast and now has cousins also
Do you agree with Skip?
UNDISPUTED ON FS1 but he still ain't wining MVP in the 6th and probably getting swept by the spurs it means nothing
UNDISPUTED ON FS1 Curry was way better in 2016. Stop it skip
lmao
UNDISPUTED ON FS1 no
Stephtastic!
Ethan Charles Doesn't mean it's good basketball
Ethan Charles they wont because he makes it look easy
+111illmatic how exactly is getting double digit assists and rebounds bad basketball?
You also need to realize every MVP was in the top 3 to 4 seed. We are talking about who is more valuable to their team and is actually talking their team somewhere
111illmatic leading the league PER and taking his team to the playoffs says it's good basketball, just give the man credit.
Y’all gotta show skip these today 😂😂😂😂 skip was loving him some Russell westbrook 😂🤙🏾
31-9 when he gets a trip dub. end of discussion. FACTS! MVP!
What is théir record ẃhen he shoots below 50%?
Joe Ruiz true
This is such a terrible argument
didnt Skip say the EXACT SAME LINE last year with Steph Curry on First Take?
LyricsKing yes he did
LyricsKing yup
LyricsKing yeah so what
LyricsKing so? It was the best season LAST YEAR and now someone came and did better the following year.
jay carr its not better not even close westbrook is inefficient and stat pads
kobe in 2006 season was unreal. 35 ppg, 81 points, 62 in 3 quarters, avergaed 50 one month, multiple 40 and 50 point games.
Shannon don't be like skip hating Westbrook , the guy is having one of the best season ever from spurs fan here
Karr S he says every time how he loves watching Westbrook play he doesn't like it all the time with him shooting too much but he doesn't hate on Westbrook
Lol Shannon got killed on this segment hahaha Good job Skip and Joy

First Mark Cuban , then Colin Cowherd , and now Shannon Sharpe. The three people who hate Westbrook like crazy. 😂
Back to these videos in 2022 all them didn’t mean nothing
Klay Thompson #94 in PER
Jeremy Lin #81
Lou Williams #34
This stat has no meaning.
lakers1234 yes it does.....klay Thompson is a 3rd option on his team and basically doesn't get any assists or rebounds.
D Stud ya because points, rebounds, and assists aren't even important.
"Name a superstar that ever left Lebron"
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie wasn’t a superstar when he left lebron
Big respect to Russell Westbrook I hope you get what you deserve #MVP
2015-2016 season - steph made a history 400 threes in a single season first unaminous mvp ever
2016-2017- westbrook the triple double machine and james harden, kawhi, lebron leading their teams
damn man we are so blessed we get to see this superhumans
Honestly I never though Kobe's usage rate would get beat. That was back when Kobe has to do all the scoring.
Shannon Sharpe are you crazy Russell westbrock is the MVP by faaaar the man is super man.
LMFAOOO yo Shannon looked and sounded so hurt at the 9:00 mark 😂😂😂😂 he in love with Bron fr
I'd still take Jordan's 88 Season
32ppg 8 8 2.9 steals
All star
All star game MVP
League MVP
And Defensive player of the year
Chris Carter and guess who Jordan would take as MVP?
Chris Carter he was also a PG for like 25-30 games...
In the 1987-88 season when Jordan won his first MVP and defensive player he actually averaged 35 points the stats you are referring to are from his 1988-89 season where Magic Johnson won the MVP and Mark Eaton won the defensive player of the year even though Jordan had his best season stats wise.
He's having one of the best seasons of all time. Too bad they probably losing in the first or second round
Russell gets 1.34 points per shot, wilt only 1.25, Russell is more efficient. Shannon really is not on skips level.
Shannon stop it.. You can tell the people who never played basketball in real life.. his triple doubles gets his team wins. He's averaging a triple double for the season. How is that not MVP?
socalsp3 because triple doubles doesn't make you the most valuable player. Shouldn't be this hard
Connor Smith its greatness your witnessing
Ali Kobaissi I agree it's not any small feat of averaging a triple double. But that still doesn't make you the most valuable player. deez nutz yes but I would take stephs season over Westbrooks
Wilt averaged 50 points because no one else except bill Russell could compete with him he was the tallest by 8 inches and he got more possesions
Larry Hughes over Oladipo? Skip smoking gas 😂
Time is flying,a lot has changed since 2017 lol he's the #1 blooper reel on the show now😂🍻🍺
If he dont win mvp, we riot
zach j look at his seed
James Harden look at his team...
zach j at the start of the year people were saying his team had similar talent level to my rockets
Rockets built their team around harden. They got great shooters, and they got rid of dwight just for harden. Thunder have 0 shooters
zach j Riot on the Internet?
Steph Curry had one of the greatest regular seasons of all time last year in 2015-16.

Russel = MVP
When did Shannon become such a Westbrook hater? 😂
brobro34343 he doesn't hate Wesbrook, he just doesn't think his mvp this season.
not a westrbrook hater just a bronsexual
this is what people were saying about Steph Curry last yr who ever has the best stats seems to be the new flavor of the month
Name the superstar that ever left Lebron's team?
LMAO Lebron
Javi kyrie 😂
Colin Cowherd and Skip should be on the same show. That would be amazing
Shannon just throwing out random stats and contradicting himself 😂

Skip is so funny. "you just got punked lol" too funny
WESTBROOK FOR MVP‼️ 🐐
Skip done trolled so much he cant even keep a straight face anymore lmaoo
Take Westbrook off the Thunder and where are they. He is the MVP
I don't agree with Skip, but I acknowledge that Westbrook is willing that team to the playoffs.

Skip and Stephen A has a chemistry that cant be matched..
FALSE. Stephen Curry 50-45-90, scoring title, steals title, 402 3s, 17 4th quarters sat UNANIMOUS MVP. Led team to 73 wins.
Wolfwarrior No it wasn't. Several players have shot 50-40-90 for the season b4 he did. And he barely led the league in steals. He tied with ricky rubio. Only gave it to him cause of 0.001 difference.
Wolfwarrior with 2 Allstars (:
J. C. P. yeah and russell stuffs stats 😂😂😂
J. C. P. two all stars that were drafted/developed by the warriors that Steph didn't scare off.
likemikegenerationx2 yeah but never off 3s... and he had the highest paint percentage amongst guards what are you smoking. he had MORE even if it is .001 smh you think its not the same in other sports foh
WestBrook having a great reason keep it up homie
Russell Westbrook over James Harden for the MVP!
STAAAP SKEEEUPP!!! but the MVP discussion this year is the first time i agree with Skip
I SWEAR TO GOD I BELIEVE SHANNON IS IN LOVE WOTH LEBRON!!!! MY GODDDDDDDD... ITS SICKENING
and skip is in love with hating with on lebron
Dwayne Brown he only hates lebron for choking in the NBA final
JUST ONE STATS you need .. when Russ goes out after first period for resting abit. Just look at the stats of the rest of the team. Just look at where he left and when he got back .. what was the score.. Russ is doing something historical.
Wth is Shannon talking about
Westbrook MVP for sure
Skip lost me when he said Westbrook is a better teammate than bron 😂there is prof he isn't 🤦🏾♂️ in my Shannon voice SKIIIIYYYYIIIIP 😂
Groovy Metatron yea that was insanity
Groovy Metatron skip just simple hate lebron
To be fair, LBJ does throw his teammates under the bus quite often. Tristan Thompson being the latest casualty
Kavin Karunathilaka lbj gets his team rings
Lebron plays the blame game way too much and whines for more players even though his team has the highest payroll in the league..I know he's the best player in the world but sheesh is he a lousy teammate off the court
russ was getting a tripdub in the first 3q's earlier this season. this dude is having the greatest season ever.
He's shooting like 42%...come on man, stop it.
JesusismyKing777 your point?
JesusismyKing777 42% ain't bad though....it's like scoring a C / D on your Test or something. It's not good, but it ain't bad either lol
JesusismyKing777 harden barely shooting 44%...ain't that much better
Arthur Glover lol what thats fukin terrible it would be the lowest shooting percentage for any MVP if he wins it thats not even league average
BannedOnTV its better tho
Wilt's 50 and 25 season adjusted for *possessions of today* gives: *40 ppg and 20 rpg*.
Wilt played on average MORE than every minute of every game in that season (because of OTs). That's a plus, not a minus.
Wilt's PER in 61-62 and 62-63 seasons are the *TOP 2 PER Seasons of all time* .
*Wilt had the best regular season of all time, even adjusted for today's possessions.*
Shannon sharp needs to just stop he's embarrassing himself he needs to just stick to football talk
Skip, stop.
Curry in 15-16 was better, Shaq in 99-00 was better, LeGOD in 12-13 was better.
DJKHALEDGOAT W
DJKHALEDGOAT Kobe in 06 too
DJKHALEDGOAT he is averaging a triple double hater stop
skiiiieeeeepp....
Shannon is a walking contradiction on this issue...can't talk about any NBA player without him bringing up LeBron
MVP race:
1. Westbrook
2. Kawhi
3. Harden
4. Curry/Lebron
abc .z switch harden and kawhi and we have a deal
abc .z Neither Curry or Lebron should be in the MVP race at all
USeeMeTrolllin uh well i had harden number 2 for a while but think it's being a bit overrated, i mean 6 turnovers a game, his a assist to turnover ratio is terrible, plus kawhi is the only all-star on his team like harden but is a higher seed, plus that game where kawhi blocked hardens gaming winning shot attempt pushed him over for me. I don't deny harden is better at making his teammates teammates better though
BruceyB Gaming yeah u have to respect him lighting up all the leading MVP candidate in the past 2 weeks
abc .z 2weeks???? he's in the MVP race because of how he's played for 2 weeks???
Scarcely agree with Skip but this season Russell has been absolutely different level
Lol Skip literally said the same thing about Currys season last year
AS A FAN OF BOTH russ and harden
I have to give it to russel..
He just does everything for his team.. ofc he has the highest usage rate, and he manages to average double digit assists when his team generally can't score very well.
Every possession requires him to play near perfect for okc to win, and he's doing just that (in terms of making plays, etc.)
Idgaf about the possessions wilts 50 and Michaels 32p 8a 8r 3s and Stephen last year are better or hakeems MVP or Kareem's 1st MVP didn't he also
Foget about also
Alps mjs 35 ppg season
awesome debate..funny AF as well 😂😂
Although I'm not a Steph fan, his unanimous MVP season was better.
Mally Mal yes. It's funny how many people don't understand that efficiency matters. A lot
Mally Mal so who do you think is MVP?
im not a steph fan either, but steph should bot have been the first to have a unanimous mvp
WRONG!!
Trajan Brice Westbrook
that's why Russell Westbrook deserve MVP
Currys 2016 season >>>>>> Russell 2017 season
No
DJ KHALED SQUAD #WeDaBest W
W
John Pange you have no stats to back it up only thing russell is better in assists and rebounds which its been proven he statpads
rushking20 #TerribleTowels that man does not Statpad at all look up a video on most obvious statpadders ever and you'll see what statpadding is and his team wins 80% of his games when he has a trip dub
this is the first time in life . i have to agree with skip Russ is having the greatest ever.
Most people just state that OKC without Russ is clearly not a playoff team
hoboxjohn he makes his team look worse because he doesn't share the ball much and steals rebounds, so his teammates' stats are lowered
If you watch a okc game you would see how incompetent they are on the court
hoboxjohn you would say that until you watch the game lol
One of the best segments this show has had! :) Joy should get involved in the debate more often! She's pretty calm and objective.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!
Seeds only matter when you're planting a garden! Classic!
LeBron and Harden both have better help than Westbrook lol that's facts! LeBron has two all stars he can rely on and Harden has guys that can shoot 3's like crazy lol
This is hard to decide who is the MVP this year between Westbrook and Harden tbh
i like how they let joy talk
Wilt averaged 50 ppg and 25 rpg nuff said
Zach Stolpa in a league where it was only 2 7fts. In the WHOLE league
+#LakeShow #GoPats question whats more impressive 50 ppg and 25 rpg or averaging 30 10 and 10
Zach Stolpa Westbrook now but this isn't the greatest season ever not even close
Westbrook has a lot more competition... Has to match up against guys like Kyrie, Thomas, Wall, Walker, Lowry, etc just to name some of the main elite PG's in the NBA. Wilts only competition was really just Bill Russell and that's it
Zach Stolpa and he only one 42 games that year
Shannon Sharpe shade game is strong, damn bro give the man some respect!
Lebron's 4 mvp's season's were better, Curry's season last year was better.
Donkey Green he's talking about statistically
Ssj4 Randy percentages are part of statistics. They are a vital part in fact, but many people don't understand this
Steven Stevenson thank you. if you average 60 points on 17% is that good?
Black Petunia anybody shooting 17% wouldn't be on a team in the NBA let alone averaging 60 bad hypothetical.
Not a bad hypothetical because anyone could average 10 assist if they threw 5 turnovers yet Westbrook gets praise for it.
Jack Liu plus he goes into every game just looking for he triple double
Hayah7 why u givin yourself an L fool
1. if it was that easy someone else would have done it before
2. if that were true his team wouldn't be over .800 when he has a triple double.
It's a fukn triple double!!! That's how u get trips DUH!!!
40 TRIPLE DOUBLES, no matter how he got em!!!!
Jack Liu don't be like that they are 32 and 11 when he gets a triple double
Westbrook = MVP
6th place team should not have a regular season MVP. Get a first round home court advantage and the OKC team was projected to be placed higher than the Rockets in the beginning of the season.
Preseason predictions are meaningless.
It's meaningless now but no one was buying that Harden had a better team. Does Harden really have that leap of a team over Russell. He just making his team better than Russell imho.
Dude u realize he got Lou Williams and Eric Jordan which was a all star smh look at both of the teams and open ur eyes
And every talented big men, Westbrook deserves MVP no doubt about it
And James harden just waits for the clock to go down just to throw it to his teammates to force them to shoot
Looking at old takes from sports shows. I miss molly on this one, she was great.
Shooting like 44 percent, leads the league in turnovers and the 6th seed in the west, best season ever though !
Harden leads the league in turnovers.
Elias Mina And leads in scoring and has the highest per plus will be breaking a record no one thought would ever be close to being broken.
Elias Mina 42%. And chases stats like no player in NBA history
Elias Mina 2 of those 3 you are describing Harden buddy
Elias Mina 42 % actually
Ppl have to acknowledge that if okc was in the east they could damn near be the first seed. They play the clippers warriors spurs Portland rockets grizzlies nuggets 4 times all playoff caliber teams and then teams like Nola 4 times and their not easy to beat cuz davis is a beast and now has cousins also
This is why I can't stand extreme Lebron lovers
Vonnie, Agreed! Bronsexuals are the most annoying fans. Once they lose this year, the noise should die down. At least I hope so.
