First...I'm happy to see that SU has their bass drums ON THE RIGHT facing the center of the band once again. I haven't seen for quite some time. Second...I've never heard "Tourist" sound like that! It was so much more balanced, like every section was keeping up with the Euphoniums at the beginning! Great job! Lastly...Thriller vs. Nightmare vs. Pure Cocaine...arrangers make all the difference. Not even close!

Alcorn Tubas sound like they struggling getting their sound to come out. Its only when they play the high B flats when you really hear them. Im wondering if the brass tubas they're playing on are KINGS OR CONNS because the sound is muffled
It's been like that the past 3yrs or so. It's like they trying all they can to push that sound out those horns.
They cant be playing on Conns. Conns have a very dark solid sound and if you ever played on one you can tell.

Southern is a beast this year but I hope they realize that they have two monsters heading their way at the end of the year. 2019 JSU and Grambling might be the best versions of their bands that I’ve heard in years. Might have to make a trip to one of those games.
Dee M Not at all!! Grambling never had a band just a great football team. JSU isn't either there style is totally different from SU.
