Actually he used to live in railway changar mohalla near do moria pull .an old woman called Mai thelli was residing near mian Isa masjid he used to beg her to make a kind of dua for him to get the rolls in movies.according to some people with weak iman he got the the roll in fims because of that faqirni.he was married to the daughter of Begum Malik Sharif film producer and owner of the Qaiser Cinema his brothers had a spare parts business first in Sarai sultan and then Badami Bagh lari ada very Noble and gentlemen specially alhaj Yousaf and alhaj Yaqoob all of them very handsome and tall except the older one who was not very tall but extra ordinary fat.only Yousaf had some kind of relationship with ilyas other two were very stubborn to accept ilyas as an actor.ilyas was tottaly opposite of his brothers character wise.
