Nope we are not that rich we have helpers because my mother wants to help other people they/we treat them as family. And when I was young helpers are not that expensive. 😅

Filipinos are family oriented, family that prays together, stays together….hardwork pays off …education of children are most important…parents work hard in the Philippines…most parents work OVERSEAS ARE ALREADY DEGREE HOLDERS ….most common as a nurse…
Education is the only inheritance you can get from parents that can never be taken away from you, you can survive confident to live a descent living.

She must be smart, its not easy to pass the CPA board exams tbvh. Only a third of the examinees passed in the last one. Why she is enslaving herself doing all these menial jobs, i dont understand. But then again if doing all that makes her trully happy, then go girl… im rooting for you.

Koreans are generally unable to express themselves well. What we see in dramas are not usually reflective of how the real life is in Korea. The way he spoke is quite normal here. They're not as studious as Filipinos. That's just how the culture is, and that's why it's nice to see shows like this, so we can understand the culture better.

I had seen this restaurant in Gangneung. I almost went but I did not. I should have.
It is not normal for average Filipino families to have two or more helpers in one house. Average to above average families usually have only one. Below average families have none.

Maybe nowadays it's not common but in the 70s-90s it was very common for whole families to work for another family (mother, sister, aunt, cousin, etc who work as helpers for a household). Right now, I know a rich family in Manila that have 1 helper meanwhile people in our province who have wide tracks of land have 50 helpers in the farm. I had a nanny growing up and my sister had her own nanny and we also had a housekeeper and a driver. We're not as rich as the family in Manila with just 1 helper.

So you mean most filipino women are bad, not smart, not hardworking placing family first? Dude were family oriented we placed our family first that's why we take care of our elders, grandparents and greatgrandparents, even distant relatives. Also the reason we bring home gifts like kababayan huge boxes.. and ofw sent money from abroad because we care alot about family.. at 18 we still live on our parents house and take care of their finance like we send and give them money for their food or their medicine and medical care. I always bought clothes for my mother bags etc.

She probably be living better had she stayed in the Philippines, she's smart, a CPA and hardworking. The husband is not even helping in the household chores. I hope the Filipinos stop romanticizing Koreans due to their K Dramas I salute her as she lives as responsibly with her decision and for her kids. Korean men are not ideal husbands, they dont help their Filipina wiife, how many more stories had been featured like this. I feel sad that she's working too many jobs and looks like contrbuting more for the family expenses. Praying for her good health and hope that she will find time to take a much needed rest.
