As soon as I saw other idols cover never goodbye (intro part)they sing so hard and then I realized how hard this song is. My previous DREAMIES is totally different from other groups.
It is live singing, you guys should watch the live version one on M2 UA-cam Channel. The video was shown in the broadcast is actually an edited video from several shots. And the audio itself coming from the recorded LIVE. It is called pre-recorded because they have to take several angles and shots for the show. But, pre-recorded is still their live voices lol. They had recorded the live voices in the first take. And, should be remember, why do y'all doubting they are singing live? Ofc they are. They are singer, trained for years, and still keep improving. And sometimes it NEEDs and could be recorded beforehand.. but it doesn't mean they cannot sing live.
It's a pre-recorded vocal or not which we don't know is true or not, If you look at mr. removed when the hot sauce and quite down, even at the 2020 seoul music awards, they live very well without having to be heard breathing on the mic. chen from exo said they learn to control their breath so we can't hear their breath clearly, but they are good vocalists. And then whoever is up for winning either stays or goes home and then comes back for the encore (which happens in real time). So that's all that pre-recorded means: recorded ahead of time on the same day but it doesn't mean they're not singing live.

Pre-recorded - to record beforehand or in advance. to record (a radio show, television program, etc.) prior to an actual broadcast or showing. Movies. to record (music, sound effects, etc.) The performance was pre-recorded prior to the airing time but I'm sure their singing were live when they recorded it.
I'm so pissed at SM 😢 This is Chenle's favorite song and our boy would really love to sing this live for sure. I'm so disappointed with SM for using pre recorded vocals when they are just sitting down. Ugh

If you heard Drive from thso same album live, you might know what I mean. Also, they might just be a light auto tuned filter in the mic... saying they're lipysincung seems off. Why do you think they are lip syncing this anyway?

Go check out the group and individual fancam of this performance, that’s one of the easiest way to tell whether it’s live. Breaths, mouth pronunciation and general strain in the body when they reach high or low notes are all present. Also, it’s not impossible to believe they can sing live so well. If you watch NCT dream content, you’ll know they spontaneously break out into song, on key, CONTINUOUSLY.
if they're dancing and their voices sounds so electric or alien its pre recorded (example is if the choreography includes jumping and their movements do not affect their voices means it is pre recorded). for this one, since they're not dancing it's pure live.
