A good one! Thanks, have been searching through some videos that were not so good. Your advice coincides with many other good recommendations. Plus, I like your natural style and looks, this means it is genuine (apart from the good and honest presentation!).
I'm so glad to hear that -- congratulations on publishing your first carousel! 👍💯 Once you do the first carousel, the ones that follow are so much easier!
This is the first time I watched a video from your channel. And oohh... I just found exactly what I needed. I just loved those really good graphics, clear audio and your energy. That Like and Subcribe buttons deserve a hit
Thank you Brooke for sharing such top notch content. Loved the way you helped us understand how we could create an awesome carousel post. Can't wait to see what's in store for the future
I have a question: Are Linkedin coursels going away? I've just watched your UA-cam tutorial on how to create carousels, but they are not showing up on the feed. And just heard that they are planning to stopped allowing to making them.
Thanks for asking! Carousels that are essentially PDF documents (and technically posted as a “document”) are still in full swing on LinkedIn. I just saw and reposted one today! That‘s the type of carousel featured in my video. The carousel LinkedIn is talking about features images and video - that’s what’s not available.
I'm glad to hear that, Max! Carousels get a lot more reach/impressions than nearly any other post format, so they're helpful to do when there's a decent amount of content to share.
Thank you so much for this video, I've posted my first carousel ! How do you manage to have a pdf carousel look as good as when you create it ? I'm using a 1080 px by 1080 px with 300 dpi resolution but when it gets published, it does not look so great (blury)
@@DelawareShoutOut Thanks for your response Brooke, I'm using the Standard (publishing online and printing) setting in Powerpoint but it's still not as sharp once it's converted to pdf :/
Thanks for asking, Maria! You can download your Canva slides as a single video file rather than as separate images (check out the download options). And then you can upload the video onto LinkedIn as a regular video post rather than a carousel. I hope that helps!
I am curious why you chose the Instagram option and not the LinkedIn Carousel option in Canva. It is just because of the size? 1080x1080 as opposed to 1200x1500? I had considered that the LinkedIn Carousel option did not exist at the time that you made this video, but the video is only a month old, so I'm not sure.
Thanks for asking! I thought a lot about the size options before making this video. In the end, it would be easier for most viewers (who are busy entrepreneurs) to just deal with a single size that could be used on two platforms, rather than having to resize for each platform. Thank you for asking!
Amazing tutorial Brooke 👍 any way to get your Canva template? I can recreate it easily but would save time to get it directly. Of course, I would adapt it to my brand kit and change some stuff.
