Well in reality, the cave would be completely dark unless you had dynamic lighting from Optifine so the entire reality bit that was in the cave would be a black screen with sounds. Mojang is yet to add dynamic lighting to the base game.

Pretty sure it's there in the normal version. I mean, a torch will definitely light up the surroundings, not sure what you mean by "dynamic lighting"
@@maaax1173 like light that moves with you. When you hold a torch it doesn't light up in your hand in Vanilla Minecraft (unless they changed it and I didn't notice). But yeah so you have place down the torches for them to make a difference, you wouldn't be able to hold the torches as they would do nothing in your hand.
Does anyone else think that Mojang gives more importance to the quality and details of the trailers than to the game itself?
I still remember when the trailers were taken from the game itself, because the need to make animated trailers instead of doing it in the game itself, is perhaps easier and cheaper than the normal way?
Because they also show things that are not even in the same game, like the animation of splashing in the water.
Yeah, I'ma be honest, Mojang has really gotten lazy and has taken advantage of player loyalty in recent years

The only thing I want from Mojang is the implementation of Optifine into the base game. Imagine how easier life would be if we could put torches in our off hand and we don't have to place them in order to see through dark areas.

Indeed would be a great feature, even more with shades. But updating light on current game is very heavy. Just try making an Redstone that turn lights on / off or move it with piston rapidly. The fps drops a lot. And light on the game do much more than only makes you see better. Farms, mob spawn etc. So shaders are just esthetic

There is a texture pack that lets u make the game look like the trailers but u need a NASA pc to not lag
Use all optimization options from OptiFine and tone down shadows a bit and it can run well in a 2060
@@umarthdc If optifine is too taxing, you can use Sodium mod on Fabric to run the game a lot quicker. If you're into shaders Iris works wonders.
Minecraft is really unoptimized so even if you have a good pc you still might not be able to get good fps with really high quality shaders and texture packs, especially in the new versions. Hell i have a gtx 970 and on 1.8 and below i get over 400fps, on the new versions its usually 70 but drops to like 40 most of the time...
just add shaders, and music to the "reality", then I think it would be a far more fair comparison
Not really neither the music nor the shaders are apart of the vanilla game if anything it would be giving Minecraft a unfair advantage by acting like it has features that it simply doesn't have without the use of mods and editing.

В принципе, какие нибудь rtx шейдеры бахнуть, добавить музыку из трейлера и вполне неплохо получится. Если ещё и мод на моргание какой нибудь и на обновлённые движения, то ещё лучше.
Но если сравнивать именно с ванильным майнкрафтом, абсолютно без всего, то тут да, реальность разочаровывает

The trailer is more dramatic, but it is impressive that everything in the trailer can happen in-game.
The game would probably be like 15 frames per second, if the caves would actually have like 500 enemies in large groups like that.
Minecraft trailers are so much like the actual game compared to trailers made by EA for example, and it makes me slightly wonder if any of you guys have ever seen a Sims 4 trailer (which I do NOT recommend, since 99% of them are animated non-existent bullsh*t and the game is broken)
For those people who are saying reality is disappointing, well minecraft was not ment to have animated trailers and the old trailers were in game.
They could atleast make the game look the same 🙄 they have the ability to do it, they just won’t.

I always keep in my mind that reality is harsh ;-;
It's honestly kinda depressing in a funny way just seeing the coolest scene that looks really awesome, then seeing the game version, with no music and it's just very slow 🤣

THE ENDING WITH THE GOAT WAS SO RELATABLE WHY
Only way it could match the trailer is if there was
-auto reactions(character makes faces when doing something like getting hurt or fighting)
-have a setting that increases quality(I'm tired of seeing shader mods look better than the game)
-torches being lit while in hand
Microsoft has been this way for a LONG time. This is not new. Mojang didn't behave this way when they were independant.

The fun part is what theorically theres only 4 things what are different in game-trailer.
-Endless chunks rate -optifine
-shadders -ridiculous spawn rate
I like the introduction of Optifine, Effective, and 3D textures because it brings us closer to the trailer.

I know everyone is hating on the trailer, but the only big difference is the graphics. Almost all the gameplay is the same. I dont know why everyone is complaining so much. People should care more about the gameplay than the graphics in my opinion.

I feel like updating minecraft to at least have the amazing lighting like in the trailer would make it away more imersive
they probably won't do that, because if it had dynamic lights and realistic textures most pc's wouldn't run the game. Thus, taking away much of the accessibility of the game, since only youtubers and rich people's would be able to play :)

The point of the video is that the base game should look like that without mods. Or mojang should use actual gameplay footage instead of faking it and not giving what they promised.

The trailers are just there to boost the hype of the newest update/game. I never really took them seriously.
Theres a mod on bedrock that has a new textures and i think some kind of shaders it gives you that feel of the cartoonish trailers

Tbh, with a high res resourcepack + OptiFine + Shader you can get very close to this. But you will also need a beefy PC.
And since resourcepacks and optifine and shaders are all player made, it's indeed a bit of a shame to release such a Trailer.

Minecraft has a specific look and feel that has not been updated hardly sense it’s beginning. The only way to see it better is with shaders mods or Ray tracing. Even still the gameplay (while fun) is not as “cinematic” and quirky as the trailers.
need that feature of item emitting light source while still holding it without modification rather than a telescope that used a crystal. sorry bad english
