Thank you for this. I'm still loving my Nesco VS-12. I've never had a problem with it. It's a real workhorse in my kitchen. It's lasted much longer than any of my Food Savers that I've had over the decades.
This is actually a question instead of a comment. How do you remove just a small amount of air with the FoodSaver V4400 in order to vacuum and seal pastry and rolls without crushing them?

The FoodSaver V4400 is MILES AHEAD of the Avid Armor USV20. Mine has been lasting me for years.

I think it has a delicate food setting for this.
