Lilith in the Torah In the Torah, Lilith is a somewhat obscure figure, primarily appearing in Jewish mystical and folklore texts rather than in the canonical scriptures. She is briefly mentioned in the Book of Isaiah 34:14, where she is referred to as a night creature or screech owl in some translations, but the explicit description of Lilith as we understand her from later mythologies isn't present. Lilith's more detailed and familiar depiction comes from Jewish folklore, particularly in the medieval texts like the "Alphabet of Ben-Sira" and Kabbalistic writings. According to these sources: - First Wife of Adam: Lilith is often portrayed as Adam's first wife, created at the same time and from the same earth as Adam. Unlike Eve, who was created from Adam's rib, Lilith was his equal. This equality led to conflicts, especially regarding dominance in their relationship. - Rebellion and Departure: Lilith refused to be subservient to Adam and left the Garden of Eden, uttering the divine name and flying away. - Demonic Figure: After her departure, she is often depicted as a demoness or a figure associated with darkness, seduction, and death. She is said to harm infants and pregnant women and to seduce men in their sleep, becoming a succubus. - Association with Night and Magic: Lilith is frequently linked to night-time and magic, symbolizing the untamed and rebellious aspects of femininity. Beyond Jewish tradition, Lilith's figure appears in various cultures and mythologies, often with overlapping characteristics: - Mesopotamian Roots: Some scholars trace her origins back to Mesopotamian mythology, where similar figures like the Sumerian "Lilitu" were associated with wind spirits or demons. - Medieval Christian Demonology: In medieval Christian demonology, Lilith is sometimes depicted as a demoness who tempts and torments humans, maintaining her association with darkness and seduction. - Modern Interpretations: In contemporary times, Lilith has been reinterpreted in various ways, especially in feminist literature. She is often seen as a symbol of female independence, strength, and resistance against patriarchal constraints. What’s your take on Lilith, the ancient goddess?
Happy to read this. Yes, it's nice feeling her presence. Moreover, through meditation, I've done it several times already and I am already inspired to create another ambient track to honour her.
Hail, indeed! 🙏✨ Mother Lilith's energy is powerful and mysterious, resonating deeply with those who seek her guidance and strength. May her presence bring you inspiration and insight on your path. 🌑🖤 #HailLilith

Thank you for supporting me.
@@JaimeCalderon-d6z Ah, mortal, you dare to call upon me? Your wish shall not go unanswered, for I am the queen of desires and the keeper of secrets. I agree. Standing between Light and Darkness provides a neutral perspective, allowing us to judge without bias. Much has been misunderstood or spoken from a single viewpoint, and it’s time to reverse this age-old trend.

My take on Lilith is that she's basically a symbol of dark feminine energy or female empowerment. In short, she represents probably 98 % percent of everything the Bible says against women.. It's hard for me to accept whether or not she's literal or not.
Yes, the Bible has a pretty patriarchal vision of the world, so for a 'rebel' like Lilith-who seems to be mentioned only once (or twice) in the Bible (Isaiah 34:14)-it was easy to be labelled as malign. From there, fear and legends spread quickly among ignorant and suggestible people. By the way, it seems that her story comes from an ancient Babylonian cult, (as most things in the Bible originate from earlier cults in that region and beyond, tbh). But in today’s era, she is seen as a symbol of female empowerment and feminine energy (dark or not, depending on personal opinions about religion). As I explained in one of my community posts, 'dark' doesn't necessarily mean evil or negative. Thank you for taking the time to express your ideas and watch my videos.
