After many years 343 said they are finally looking into the horrible hit reg of halo 3 on mcc! I am beyond hype! I know so many OG's that wont even look in this ports direction because of how awful the hit reg is. glad it getting looked into

Client side vs server side seeing different things. Tick rate is just how many times a second the server refreshes what it's seeing. 30 tic wouldn't have that big of a delay. You'd need like 10 tick or lower for that. His data is just taking so long to get to the server and back to his machine there is noticable lag between when he shoots and when the kill registers

It could be like 60% of him having a bad ping but still the game is still in a broken state with terrible net code and the game not being able to handle nothing past 30 tic

Never even gotten a trocity and I’ve been playing for a good decade. The overkill on narrows at 0:23 with the missed killtac grav lift snipe is essentially my halo career in a nutshell

there used to be a glitch on mcc where the multikill timer was extended by half a second or so on larger maps like valhalla and last resort
