Beautiful Houma, La. Speaking of Houma, back in late Oct. 1975 there were about 10 families from the war-torn Vietnam found their refuge by the place near Cypremort Point. The whole place was hit hard and decimated by a powerful hurricane few years earlier. Next to it was a sugar mill. We had an opportunity to have met one of the gentlemen who drove the truck to unload the fine sugar from the mill to the barge for deliveries throughout the regions. He was tall, skinny, most often quite, and always welcome us boys to join him on the truck. It's almost 50 years now and i found myself to remember him occasionally....His name was Houma. 🙏...I love you, Houma.
@@datlouisianalife Thank you for the invitation, Tara but my family and i have settled in California now. Still have big families in the St. Mary area. Perhaps one day.
These videos continue to get better every week. The drone footage is some of the best wildlife footage I’ve seen. And as for Tara I’m very impressed with you’re ability to use a bait caster. Thanks for sharing guys I really enjoyed it

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your show. It puts a smile on my face because ya’ll are so real. The relationship with each other makes us feel like we’re part of your family. Never let anyone change the way you run things it’s so refreshing.
Although the bofin has many names I grew up calling them cypress trout and bass, we're green trout. Another great video guys best form of entertainment in today's world. I even surprised myself on how much I look forward to watching every Sunday. Love you guys till next time later. ❤😊
I pray you are safe with this hurricane coming! Please do all you can to I protect yourselves and family and friends!!! I pray your houses on land and water are safe and not damaged!!! Amen! Sent with love from Orlando Florida! I grew up like ya'll fishing boating, canoeing, snorkeling, swimming any place we could go. Grab a Gass tank gather change, ride, on our bikes, to the gas station to get Gass for the boat for sking of fishing. At night we fished off paddle boats and just looked for the light in my friends yard to get back with our catch!
Keith and Tara, Just wanted to tell you that you kept some normalcy to my life for the last month! My daughter was in the burn ICU and every Monday I would watch y'all. Keep up the great life!

Yall I just can’t thank yall enough for this! This has definitely been the most amazing thing I’ve ever watched! My heart dropped when Tara flipped dat Choupique in da boat but she healed up! Wow I can now scratch this off my bucket list! This was AMAZING! ❤❤❤❤
So glad your channel is back up and running. Everyone at the Gym in Lafayette works out and talks about the good old days after watching your videos.Always makes a bunch of 70+ folks smile
Absolutely beautiful area to fish. Quiet and peaceful! Tara is probably the best fishing partner around. Always enthusiastic and never gives up. Keith we hope your headaches are doing better.
This was an awesome day spent out on the water checking out new places. There's really no telling what all you could catch in those areas. The views were beautiful. I'd love to go through those lilly pads collecting the seed heads. Thanks guys for taking an old lady along on your adventures. Love you guys.
I think you have to get roots and I tried to pull some up and it’s stuck so much in the mud … you’d need a shovel and hip boots I believe 😂😂😂. A person has some in their pond in Houma. They would probably share withcha because we very friendly down here.
Some people go collect those by the sack full. They sell the dried ones to the florists and some people boil the green ones, like peanuts. They are delicious!
Fantastic shots with the drone, beautiful surroundings and all those lakes and canals with you, very worth seeing. There is nothing like this anywhere else in Europe. Great and this variety of fish and other animals, I like it. Absolutely right Keith too small, too old and old and big fish, like other animals, should be let go. I don't see it any differently than you do. Laugh, I'd rather have a good steak with hot sauce. Have fun Keith and Tara, take good care of yourselves and stay healthy. Greetings from Frankfurt, nice video, thank you. Gerold
We picked a good day to be out there. Even though I go to those areas often, I still get excited when I'm out there. It's good medicine! Thank you my friend!

Hello again from the german countryside. Thanks for taking us with you guys. You guys are good hearted and welcoming. It feels like we are sitting in the same boat. When i had a bad day your Videos make me feel good. Thanks for everything. Best regards from the Odenwald.
