It's smart for Vowles to under promise, and perhaps over deliver. Williams was so showing some signs of life near the end of the 24 season. They are holding back a lot currently for development on the 26 car. It's another wait and see. Before the current era change, many were expecting Hamilton, and Mercedes to be on top. A lot can change between era changes. So who knows?
Yuki could probably do better than checo. But it's important to promote within the RB family to help with recruiting younger drivers into their junior program knowing they will be given priority when promotions become available. If Yuki had been a RB driver from the start instead of a Honda driver I think he would probably been given the seat. But in his four years in the team this last year was the first where he has shown a significant improvement, I think RB sees Liam has a better potential for improvement. That's just my opinion though.
Redbull has a culture problem. Honda engine technology is ok but not a Japanese driver. In reality they are afraid of Tsunoda blowing up in their face over Verstappen favoritism. It's the way it is, afterall Audi hired Hulkenburg mainly because he's German while over at McLaren the young Aussie gets criticized because he started making a young brit look bad instead of rolling over for him.

Carlos is a star, if car decent I see a podium with Williams
