Hey Mio! Literally you are great, I'm having now exam session on my studies, but man - I can't concentrate when I have in my head game of mine when I crushed guy in Petrov in style you showed to us. And now when I read notification that you have just uploaded a video I quit from studying for this evening, really inspiring, keep up good work, cheers
I really like this because it looks so wrong and yet people get crushed by it. I play it in fast time controls and of course I get instantly the advantage of taking them out of book. We just push pawns at them and they have to scramble to figure out what the heck is going on and what in unholy hell they will do about this garbage that obviously should lose
I like Black's position as well after sacrificing the 4 pawns for the piece at 24:20 -- it reminds me of positions in the Panteldakis Countergambit in the King's Gambit 1. e4 e5 2. f4 f5 (with an extra piece ha ha). However, I'd like to know what we're supposed to plan on doing if they play e5 next. That seems pretty rough for Black potentially, as it doesn't allow us to hit the queen with the bishop.
Hey Mio, I simply want to thank you for all your great lessons. I have always learnt a lot from your vidios, keep it up! Perhaps we meet one day on a tournament, that would be awesome. This year I will participate in the Grenke Open for the third time and I am so excited to crush my opponents with your ideas.
Hello Mr. Perunovic, thank you for your great efforts providing a lot of unique lines. As you are known as 'the butcher': Could you show us a way to put appropriate pressure on the winawer french in the mentality of an aggresive 1.e4-player?
If this was such a good opening, why didn't anyone play it against Smyslov, Petrosian or Karpov after they opened 1. Nf3? The reason is that FIDE likely would have revoked their title, if they had one :)
Similar is 1. d4 Nf6 2. g4 and I'm trying to learn about this surprise weapon from white but it seems much harder to make to work because black can play d6 and e5. Why is that so much stronger than when black attempts g5?
Second game looks like its from the 19th century. Hey Mr. Perunovic. Yours is my favorite chess channel. I've been having good results with the Cunningham defense against King's gambit (1800s chess.com). I feel it's the only opening where I'm allowed to not be on the defense all game. Are there other systems for black that allow him to counterattack, and is the Cunningham such an opening or is it just my opponents playing poorly when I use it?
@El Libertoso , you are assuming limited options for White in general… they are actually follow-up to Black playing g5 to defend its pawn at f4, after White plays Nf3 to prevent Black queen coming up to h4. But if Black decides to play Be7, White can choose to defend h4 against that double attack. I am no grandmaster, but if I was faced with this option, I would play g3. And after fxg3 and hxg3, Black defends h4 thrice with g3 pawn, knight and rook, making White’s idea of attacking h4 worthless. Secondly, White king would never be checkmated even in the absence of any defender of h4. It can simply escape to f2, losing its castling right which is not the worst thing in the world.
Are most of your videos about blitz? I really want to break out the fromm and herestrom etc gambits in classical. I play the Knights Tango and Nimzowitsch so I already play offbeat stuff....but these seem like you are more geared towards blitz when you discuss these crazy lines
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial did you mean to reply to someone else? I love the content I'm just asking if you would play these aggressive gambit lines in classical?
Lol, it was meant to be for another guy, sorry! I really apologize, another guy sent me something stupid. Anyways, I wouldn’t play 1...g5 vs Reti, 2...h6 in Sicilian, 2.Kf2 King’s gambit, but From’s gambit works great in classical as well as most of the things on the channel, although, it depends on the video. Feel free to ask me whenever you have doubts!
Hi! My name is Jose! A pleasure! I have played for a couple years(over 1,500 in B&W), and to wrap up... I have played B4 whites and g5 blacks(if possible or plan B5) for eight years straight! I have a lichess (Pe-pe) account and chess.com (pepechan), would you or someone else like to play? I promise it will atleast be interesting!

Thanks a lot Godyr2g! I am so happy these lines work in practice for you guys! Thats my biggest satisfaction :)
Godyr2g forgot to tell you, good luck with exam tomorrow! Keep my fingers crossed for you!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Thank you, I will write to you as soon as possible after receiving my grade :)

Thanks for your great work recently, Mio! I still miss your awesome pro chess league commentary.
Thanks Britt :) I am still there, but Pro league now is going late in the evenings for me, so its hard to manage it these days...
30 min video with hours of excellent information in it! I will try this opening in blitz, suits my style, thanks.
Good point :)
This is very refreshing and inspiring. Thank you!
Thank you John! Welcome on the channel and enjoy 😉
21:59 Playing f6 there looks a bit a suicided, e4 for white looks very strong!
Sir this is amazing stuff once again!
I wish I could play chess like you
Thanks Jay my big bro! ❤️

Thanks a lot Niklas! When is Grenke open I might consider to come there as well :)
Wow, that would be so cool to see you there. It takes place from the 4 april to 13 april over the easter holidays.
Oh, sorry the date is of course the 9 april to 13 april.

Dear Han, we will need to do French Winawer very soon! You’ve got my promise! 💪

4. h4 seems quite good.

Find it on the channel, Humphrey Boggart gambit!

El Libertoso thanks man! Please write down the moves of Cunnigham variation, not sure that I know about which moves we talk about...
After king's gambit accepted and Nf3, black plays Be7 to actually threaten the check on h4. I've seen white do Bc4, Nc3 or d4

Better check the channel and videos then discuss about other lines and suggestions. Although, you right is to have your own opinion

what about after nxg5 white plays d3 instead of d4?

great explanation but why you cut in the middle please show full game and not only part ideas !
1.Nf3, g5 2.N×g5, e5 3. d3, d5 4.e4....... whatever black players play against me I'll still have a smooth game...
3 minutes of intro? Cmon!
Fair enough! Please don’t watch anymore! Thanks 🙏
