Missy offered an update on the baby boy she and her husband Jase Robertson took in last winter. It's good news, and she says she's crying happy tears.

I know they were doing a wonderful thing for this baby, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't get attached to a baby and then have to let them go. They are stronger than I would have been. I pray he has a beautiful blessed life for the rest of his life. Thank you Jase & Missy for loving this sweet baby. God has blessed you so much. ❤️❤️❤️
I did the same thing. It's so sad because the mother of my little one wasn't drug free. She had the dhr and judge fooled. And they refuse to listen to me. They treated me like I was the bad person. So I gave up. I love him like my own. But I couldn't allow them to destroy me. She got him back and also lied to me the whole time. Said we could be away in his life. We tried to buy him Christmas and was told to never come back around him and she didn't want anything from us. That was because she knew we knew she's still on drugs

@Bonnie Brown I totally 💯 i know that pain!! its funny i was just thinking about him ❤️ I see all this ungodly things and people!! i will never understand these types! especially being a mother! i so tried to have babies! and after 6 times and my last miscarriage he was my big boy!! but his heart stopped and i had to give him up!! I had many foster babies that I was blessed to get ready for their forever home. I did keep one as my forever girl❤️❤️❤️
My wife and I were foster parents for 12 years , and 32 kids came through our house. We adopted one, and there were several we would have loved to keep we had to stop due to health issues. I wouldn't trade any of our experiences for anything. There were struggles and heartache along the way, but they just need someone to love them and give them stability

Last I heard, a week ago, she's in a program! 🙏 for his mama and 🙌✝️ for these types of programs. Reunification is always the goal, when safe.
@@michellemybelle9591 it's wonderful news to hear. 🛐 I pray for her & hope she gets on her feet, but more than that I pray for her to give her whole heart to Jesus. Whether God's path leads her to mother her son or not I just want both of them to know the Lord who saves.
Mind you she has been estranged from him since she gave birth; his whole life since birth. (She was unable to care for him) It may or may not be God's best at this point in time. I pray for God's will in this child's life.

I cant even imagine what she and Jase are going thru, however, the Lord had them go on this journey for a reason and being that it was for a short time, the love that they showered on this young one and the fact that they will still be involved in some way in this little cherrubs life, will speak volumes down the road and this little boy will grow up knowing that he had alot of people loving on him and someone to go to if it is needed during his life. Lord ,please heal Jase and Missys heart, and let them know thru your divine mercy that this little boy will be alright and to maybe,if it is the Lords calling to share thqt love with maybe another. They obviously have the love and heart for this kind of work and see where this now will lead them!! God bless y'all
She and Jase were blessed to have him for that year they knew it probably wasn't forever

I am also praying for Reed and Brighton after her families loss of 2 little innocent ones in that horrible car crash and for the child that survived but was injured and for the mother who had some burns but not serious her wounds are on the inside the loss of her 2 little ones I don't think I could survive that 3rd little boy probably kept and keeps her going and the support of the family

I'm bummed they didn't get to adopt him but its ok what is important is that the little one finds a gtray forever home they helped him in his time of need without hesitation and they were blessed to have gotten to share that time with him and he is blessed to have been with them and I am sure they will keep in touch
I know it’s the way it’s supposed to be when you’re a foster parent but poor kid also has to adjust to new people
They are definitely good people, but I'm not strong enough to do adoption cuz I would get attached and I wouldn't want to let go, but I thought they adopted him there self, they are strong good people, it'll probably be a little rough at first when he leaves, I get sad when my grandkids leave even though I'll see them in a few days, I would say I'm honestly not a person to do foster care, do they have any grandkids yet?, Be safe peace be with you all 🙂
fostering is hard but its needed
I think it was silly for them to give him up. He has a home with luxury Christian values and the best family he could’ve had, I don’t think the new family could give him the life jase and missy gave him. Wow that’s disrupting the kids life
When you're a foster parent, you have no rights. The child belongs to the state. They may not have had a choice.
The goal of being foster parents is to also understand that the child might be connected back with the bio parents. Hurtful as it might be that’s what happens. You have to be strong to be a foster parent and very open minded.
If there weren't kind hearted people such as Jase and his lovely wife willing to open there homes and hearts knowing there is a strong possibility of it not being a permanent thing but still understanding a child needed them.I don't see this as disrupting the child's life.I see it as saving it by making him feel safe and loved at the most crucial time to form those bonds for a child.
It meant a lot seeing this video but this isnt heartbreaking news. The title is not right. This is wonderful news he found a loving family? I dont get it
It's bitter sweet, I think. Bitter because he became so much a part of them and they love him so much! Sweet because he gets a new loving home but still gets to have Jase and Missy in their lives. The heartbreak was for Missy and Jase. It was very hard for them in some ways.
