Happy Friday!❤ Yuppp, same here. I learned that I'm not allowed to go with strangers and also we don't take random people from the road, there have been all sort of scary things happening and I'm scared as you never know who you might encounter with.
@@rox_budgets I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks like this. My aunt thinks I’m crazy but I always tell her that her generation engrained in my generations minds that you never get in the car with a stranger. Taxi…I don’t like it but I will if I have to. An unmarked, random persons car is a big no for me 😂
Lol...yes!!! We grew up learning that we do not get in the car with strangers too! I have used Uber on vacations with my husband.
@@TheALMOSTOrganizedOwl My mind goes to the worst place possible with scenarios in my head. My aunt mentioned that my husband would be with me if we were traveling and used Uber but I asked her what’s he going to do if the person is flying down the interstate in the opposite direction of where we intended on going. I know I’m dramatic with certain things and I’m sure that’s where my anxiety comes from 🤦♀️

I would much rather use an uber for the sole reason that there is an electronic record of who picked me up and a gps record of where they took me. I want records! lol

@@Lifewithkrystal66 I go to peoples homes for work. I see mostly retired people. So here I am going into strangers homes every day. I can’t make it make sense but in someone’s home I am always hyper aware of my surroundings and immediately make a plan in my head. I feel like I would be more vulnerable in a vehicle going 70 mph on a highway. But I’ve also seen retired people that drive for Uber. They have showed me the app and how it shows a picture of the driver and what not but that doesn’t ease my mind because people that harm people don’t have a certain look. I can’t gauge how friendly / non threatening someone is by a picture. My aunt laughs at me and says it’s not a big deal. I said you should have thought like that when I was a kid and would tell me the dangers of getting in an unmarked vehicle 😂😂
@@boymomlovestosave lol I understand completely. I don’t have my license and sometimes I have to take Ubers but I try not to. And I do usually talk to someone on the phone and send people my location and a screenshot of the person and their car and license plate number that Uber gives lol
