The best thing about this part of the game? No enemies. It's just a trek through Atreus' ruined ancestral land to finally cap off this beautiful journey. Astounding.
I wish we could see Jotunheim at its prime in the next game. The realm is the most beautiful in the game (besides Alfheim) but we only explore a tiny portion of it.
Literally no one has ever stepped in there since the Jötunns left. The failsafe (travel crystal) is also with Mimir, and he was stuck in that tree for God knows how long.
I feel the moment when Kratos said we do it together, son, it really brought out joy to me, Kratos was proud of his son, and finally understood how much Atreus meant to Kratos, Kratos has grew so much.
One inscription says laufei = Laufey, i.e. Loki's mother. Next to it, it says staþfastr werjandi = staðfastr verjandi'steadfast guardian'. Another inscription says I dauþa kemr werjandi loksins aptr til jotunheims i hondum einherja = í dauða kømr verjandi loksins aptr til Jǫtunheims í hǫndum einherja which is supposed to mean 'In death, the guardian will finally come back to Jǫtunheim in the hands of the einherjar.' The words on the wall are svik = svík 'betrayel', andlat foþur= andlát fǫður 'death of the father' and hormung = hǫrmung'grief'.
I don't think this Loki will be the same as the Loki in Norse myth so I don't mind if Kratos dies in the next or the one after the next game. He has Spartan rage inside him.
I love what That story implies for Atreus because that means Kratos named his son after someone who is able to bring joy to him even in grim days Some thing I’m sure his son did as well when he was born.
How infinity war actually goes Loki goes to thanos than in the shadows he hears this BOY!! Loki: DADDY Kratos comes out of the shadows and kills thanos

12:50-13:42 is probably my absolute favourite moment of the entire game, brought me to tears. Just the majestic music layered over the tragic shot spanning the ashes over the desolate Jotunheim, finally laying Faye to rest with her people.
Such a great coming of age game. The sequel is gonna be amazing. Atreus is a descendant of the most powerful Titan, Most powerful Olympian and the child of a Demi-God of War and a Frost Giant. His growth into a man is gonna be powerful
Funnily enough, in the game Kratos says he is complete god, not a demi god. This can be possible if you think that Kratos opened Pandora's Box & upgraded from Demi-God to a Complete God.
@@priyanshuchatterjee7431 That would be something but him giving up that power to the world at the end of GOW3 would be the thing. Then you gotta consider at the end of this game, he told Atreus that he’s part mortal as well

12:40 - 13:20 As the sun rises from the sky, as the sun rises over the mountain, over the corpses of giants, Atreus retrieves his hands from the pouch, filled with the ashes of his beloved mother as Kratos retrieves his hands from the pouch, filled with the ashes of his beloved wife. Both open their hands and let the wind blow the ashes to the sky. The ashes turned into golden dust as the wind blow. As the wind blow, Faye awake from her short slumber. She look into the sky as she knew that she was flowing. Confused, she turn to see the earth below her. As she felt the sun kissed her face, her eyes were filled with tears. Below on the earth, her people stood. The old, the young, the men, the women, the children. All was here. All eyes were at her. The giants immediately ran towards her, arms open wide, tears blinded them as they cried her name. Filled with so much joy, Faye throw her arms out to them, calling out in return. She fall into the arms of her people. Into the arms of her family. All embrace into the warmth of each other's arms. Never to be separated ever again. Confusion fell on Faye again. If she was here then.... Gasped, she turn to see her husband and son from the great distance, high on the great mountain. She cried. They done it. They brought her home. Tears blind her eyes more. As great happiness run through her, great sorrow fill her heart. She will never see them again. _"I love you, mom."_ Faye gasp as she heard her son's voice. _"Goodbye, Faye."_ A sad voice of her husband with his eyes on the verge with tears. The father and son turn from the sun and disappear into the mountain. Faye smiled. _"I love you, Atreus. Watch over your father for me. Take good care of our boy, Kratos. I'll miss you forever. I love you, my son...... My husband...... Goodbye....."_ She spoke, wiping away the tears. She turn and follow her people as the walk towards the sun. They soon vanish into golden dust as the wind blow to the sky. Vanish from the realm of the living. The last thing Faye have done on the realm of the living was stare back to the mountain where her son and husband stood, smiling as she fade away with her people from the earth where her son and husband walk on. Vanish to their home. Vanish to their heaven.
Cpt. Dandilion that's so crazy. Its well deserved. This game is all I can think about. Like I watched infinity war and it was awesome, but my mind went back to this game. It really feels like I witnessed something special. Like the first time my mom read lord of the rings or something.
It sold 5 million in its first month. 3 million on the first 3 days. Meaning that it would be 74,000 each day thereafter. It sold in April 20 and the month that followed was till June so if we go after that, I believe there are 120 days meaning that the game would sell 8.8 million thereafter which is too big so we halve the number as sales would plummet anyway. The resulting number is perhaps 10 million units, which doesn’t sound wrong.
That means...someone else would've figured out Baldur's weakness or Baldur found out himself. Though if he did, then a needless death would happen as he would be high on the feeling of being able to feel again and ends up getting killed for no reason.
"When doom befall the indestructible, only then will the guardian return." Kratos is the doom befalling the indestructible, and has returned with the guardian (Faye) to Jotunheim.
A bit late but just a thought going through my head after reading this comment, what if Kratos is Ragnarok itself? After rewatching God of War 3 and seeing what Kratos did after his quest for revenge ended with the death of Zeus I couldn't help but to think that he could do the same in the Norse nine realms. Think of it what happened when he killed a god, when he killed Poseidon the lands were flooded, when he killed Helios the sun has disappeared, when he killed Hermes sickness as well as pest befell the world. Every kill of a god had a negative effect on the world, it created a scene we would see as the end of the world. But this is just a thought going through my head that I needed to get rid of. Feel free to give me your thought on this.
I love how in Norse Mythology. The giants are the villains but in this game, the Aesir are the baddies while the giants are the heroes. This makes me wonder, Will Surtr be a friend or foe?
@@rickyrackey7930 It's almost a rebuttal to mythology itself. Time and time again, we put ourselves at the center of the story. The gods are on OUR side, OUR realm is the one everybody fights over, OUR victories are the ones that matter. But we never give a second thought to the "other." The Greek Titans, the Norse Jötnar, they're the outsiders we demonise and distance ourselves from because we accept the gods to be the heroes, even when they commit terrible crimes. Perhaps the key to becoming better, like Kratos, is to open ourselves and move beyond the failures of our past.
It’s going to come up, Balrog the games lead even admitted as such that Atreus is going to struggle with this moving forward. He even states here that he prefers the name his father picked over his giant heritage and true god name. So the seeds of who Atreus is going to become are planted it’s time to find out next year!
15:03 Now i understand why Loki says ''Look over there'' or something like that because in that direction is where Angrboda gives Atreus the giant marbles omg. At least that's what i get from this scene here. Santa Monica you are genius
4:33 Kratos has carried the ashes of his loved ones for centuries, as atonement for his sins. It’s quite touching that his efforts led to Atreus carrying the ashes of his loved one as well, but as a token of his efforts.

Ragnarok is inevitable, when they return from Jotunheim, it starts snowing everywhere, this is Fimbulwinter, the three year winter with no summer in-between which will generate strife among men, and kinship will be forgotten, after that, three roosters will inform gods, giants and the dead that Ragnarok has begun.
Frederik Johnson - from who and what Kratos and his son has encountered, and since they have triggered a series of events, the ragnarok may soon occur or have already been unleashed. *[SPOILER]* The death of Baldur is one of the signs of the ragnarok...
Frederik Johnson - I meant to put a question mark, it was a question. Knowing now what happens they did not destroy the ragnarok but took some part of it out; Baldur for one. However, the weird _timeline_ the game's story places everyone and the events in, it looks as though _a_ ragnarok occurred and probably another one may take place if the game has a sequel along with the current story/plot.
I'm gonna make a wild theory, I think that this game's sequel will end with Kratos and Atreus killing Heimdall and Kratos being killed by Thor, Atreus will then return to Jotunheim and blow Heimdall's horn, reviving the Giants thus starting Ragnarok for good as Atreus leads the revived Giants against Odin.
Then it ends with atraes finding a love interest of sorts to repopulate midgard and, jotunheim, then the nordic saga ends. BUT, a post credit scene will end with God's from other pantheons planning an attack on atraes. Knowing he annihilated the nordic pantheon and his father wiping the Greek pantheon.
He most likely wont kill odin, if what ur sayin is true, isnt that just repeating what kratos do?, and atreus will realize that the cycle must truly end for good.
The games sequel will start with the begining of ragnarok and there are a lot of people who theorized that we will be fighting Thor and then Odin, cuz hes the strongest gods of all norse gods in GOW6
Am calling it NOW, kratos will go on a killing spre and kill Thor and Odin and Loki will see the true nature of his father and kill him, from which Jormungandr is born and he is upset and crying as shown on the paintings by his mother
I agree to some degree. You wish you explored it more, but at the same time if you do that before finishing the game, you get kind of disconnected from the main story imo. Same thing when I played through the Witcher 3 storyline.
Wow such a beautiful story not only she wanted to make them closer and stronger through their journey but tell them the truth about everything and at the same time bringing her to rest with the rest of her slayed kin.
What if this cycle continues after Kratos “dies” and Atreus’ ends up in Egypt after causing Ragnarok, his son repeats the cycle after destroying the Egyptian pantheon, repeat ad nauseum?
Out of all the games I have played. This scene right here is the only one that makes me bawl my eyes out whenever I see it. The music. The vocals. The part that got me most is 'Goodbye, Faye.'. Incredible. This game deserved GOTY. Even 4 years later, I am incapable of watching this without shedding even a single tear.
They took one of the most famous and entertaining dickheads in all literature and turned him into a bright-eyed teenager with daddy issues. Revealing Atreus is Loki in this game was perfect, but Ragnarok completely wasted him.
13:29 note that every single one of those giants is wearing battle garbs/tunics and bracers. I would say there's a high probability that either Faye killed them all and imbibed some form of resurrection spell into her body before she died, that would only be truly active when she became ash, and when those ashes are scattered in Jotunheim, the giants are resurrected, OR They died fighting a civil war, Faye predicted this and did the aforementioned resurrection anyway.
Vincent Cantera lol why ? I think they are going to make him a magical body which mimir can move with his reanimated head. So he doesn’t have to be dangling from the hips of the ghost of Sparta in the next game.
dufferego87 Or let's just say that they were able to replicate Mimir's head which can give them acess to Jotenheim. Then one day Thor or Odin appears before them and takes the head they made then reach Jotenheim and kill all the giants there.
@@Ilkvomit He was. He explained every single bit of lore we needed to know about the gods and what happened to the giants. He wasn't meant to support the characters in combat
Why is it that they never speak of the dead giants ??? I mean the mountain was filled with dead giants. How did thor and odin reach this place if they never had access to it?
Giants will return and Thor will die like a frog in serpents mouth. For Odin , i think he will get a big beatdown by Kratos and Atreus. After killing Freya ofc.
Mimir told a story of a Jotun king who stole Thor's hammer, the king's demand of returning the hammer was for him to marry Freya, Odin's Idea (in myths it was Heimdall's Idea) was for Thor to be disguised as Freya and sent to Jotunheim, Thor retrieved his hammer and...you know the rest
This giants were not killed by Thor and Odin. They broke the pact from the other realms long before their cousins became extinct in Midgard. Their death in Jotunheim was caused by something else we have yet to know.

Sure the game stays truth to their known abilitys but change the charactaristics wich i think is Great. They dont need to follow the actual Mythology, and i love that.
Instead of the pretty boy in green garments who plays knife tricks, this Loki will be something that could surprise us.
Thor kills odin and Thor and Loki kills the lesser ones then proceeds to Egypt then Japan that makes him even with kratos. Kratos killed the greek gods and norse gods and Loki kills Japanese and Egyptian gods
The best thing about this part of the game? No enemies. It's just a trek through Atreus' ruined ancestral land to finally cap off this beautiful journey.
Astounding.
Well jotunheim is barred from everyone entering. It would be illogical to have anyone there.
@@Pluvillion his eyes were the failsafe not the travel crystal
Enemies would’ve ruined it
I feel the moment when Kratos said we do it together, son, it really brought out joy to me, Kratos was proud of his son, and finally understood how much Atreus meant to Kratos, Kratos has grew so much.
This game has so much lore that even after a whole year I'm still putting pieces together
This game is a new beginning and so will Ragnarok be
Hope Santa Monica bring more lore to this new amazing story
the best words kratos as a father gave to his son is
"who i was is not who you will be, we must be better"
12:14 New skill learned 'Fatherhood'
“Goodbye Faye”. So many chills. This entire scene makes me teary every time
One inscription says laufei = Laufey, i.e. Loki's mother. Next to it, it says staþfastr werjandi = staðfastr verjandi'steadfast guardian'. Another inscription says I dauþa kemr werjandi loksins aptr til jotunheims i hondum einherja = í dauða kømr verjandi loksins aptr til Jǫtunheims í hǫndum einherja which is supposed to mean 'In death, the guardian will finally come back to Jǫtunheim in the hands of the einherjar.'
The words on the wall are svik = svík 'betrayel', andlat foþur= andlát fǫður 'death of the father' and hormung = hǫrmung'grief'.
Betrayal leads to the fathers death, at death he returns to Jotinheim
So it is confirmed. Kratos *will* and Atreus will bring the Ragnarok to Asgard and possibly Midgard.
I don't think this Loki will be the same as the Loki in Norse myth so I don't mind if Kratos dies in the next or the one after the next game. He has Spartan rage inside him.
"Death of the father"
"Grief"
Aw shit....here we go again
It could also mean death of Odin, who is often referred to as the Allfather
At least Kratos managed to finally scatter the ashes of a loved one.
Lightman 2120 instead of them being on his body 😂😂
Atreus/Loki: ODIN! THE SON OF KRATOS HAS ARRIVED, I BRING THE DESTRUCTION OF ASGARD!!!
You will not see the end of this day!
more like "I GOING TO UNLEASH RAGNAROK"
RAAAHH!! CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE!!
More like that
Allfather : "I'm in danger!!"
Kratos: *while standing on Jormungandr* I'm back bitches!!!!
I love what That story implies for Atreus because that means Kratos named his son after someone who is able to bring joy to him even in grim days
Some thing I’m sure his son did as well when he was born.
Ironic, is it not.
The god of mischief and chaos bringing joy and a level of peace into someone’s life who DESPERATELY needed it.
How infinity war actually goes
Loki goes to thanos than in the shadows he hears this
BOY!!
Loki: DADDY
Kratos comes out of the shadows and kills thanos
Lol imagine Thanos turns back to the time and tries to snap his finger to destroy Loki, then Kratos comes from the portal after killing Sisters of Fate while holding the Blade of Olympus and chopping his head off. He always aim the head you know :)
@@ladyselin35 now that's called badassery
Casper year lare but imagine Kratos throwing the Leviathan Axe to thanos and then summoning it back after leaving a realm tear
Kratos would beat the shit from Thanos even with all infinity stones xd
Kratos... would have went for the head the first time...
Then you gotta consider at the end of this game, he told Atreus that he’s part mortal as well
@@HanginWitLucid Part Mortal ?
I thought he said that to Atreus because Faye was a mortal.
Also, in rapid fire questions with Cory Barlog (Director Of GOW) it was answered that Kratos is Immortal.
(You can search it on YT)
@@priyanshuchatterjee7431 Faye was a Giant. And I don’t see how he could be immortal. It’s a huge plot hole and continuity error
@@HanginWitLucid 1st generation of demigods are immortal. Immortal meaning one who could not die of old age.
You could see the heartbreak on both their faces when they spread Faye's ashes, the facial expression animations were just top notch, incredible game all around.
My favorite part is when Kratos told the origin of Atreus' name, it reminds me to be optimistic in stressful situations.
2:22 - I am terrified of elevators. I am going to have to start taking STEPS to avoid them.
I don't trust stairs; they are always up to something.
no
What?
Nice reference 😂
Why don't crabs donate to charity? Because they are shellfish
>They took an uncomfortable number of measurements
So they're gonna make Mimir a body out of armor?
That's interesting!
Have I beaten the game multiple times already? Yes. Have I watched this scene millions of times on UA-cam already? Yeah. Does this scene still make me cry every time? You bet your ass. Do I still get a heart attack every time I see the Loki reveal? Ohohoho yeah.
12:40 - 13:20
As the sun rises from the sky, as the sun rises over the mountain, over the corpses of giants, Atreus retrieves his hands from the pouch, filled with the ashes of his beloved mother as Kratos retrieves his hands from the pouch, filled with the ashes of his beloved wife.
Oh dammit. Got me right in the feels

That was beautiful you just made me cry.
I know this game sold like 3 million in the past month. But it needs to be like 15 million at least lol
Joseph Morales past month? Game sold 3 million in three days! Fastest selling PS4 exclusive to date!
Cpt. Dandilion that's so crazy. Its well deserved. This game is all I can think about. Like I watched infinity war and it was awesome, but my mind went back to this game. It really feels like I witnessed something special. Like the first time my mom read lord of the rings or something.
Well, you're 1/3 way there, it sold 5 millions last time I checked.
Blicz B How do you check how many sales games got? Can you link me to the website?
I choked up so hard when Kratos called him "son", tearing started flowing immediately😭😭😭
Never thought a God of war game would make me so emotional, but it did and it was worth it
18:26
I love how even after Mimir helped get them Johtenheim, Kratos still kept him around.
The quest was over, but Kratos didn’t discard him.
Mimir be like...make a small bed for me in ur room...
I just noticed this...the mountains are a graveyard! Whoa...she wanted to be buried at home with her people.
@Infinity doesnt Ragnarok start because of Baldur's death ?
He was supposed to live for a hundred more winters
That means...someone else would've figured out Baldur's weakness or Baldur found out himself. Though if he did, then a needless death would happen as he would be high on the feeling of being able to feel again and ends up getting killed for no reason.
"How about the warm confines of ANYWHERE-BLOODY-ELSE?" XD
3:40 one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen in gaming heart touching him releasing his pain and scars
"When doom befall the indestructible, only then will the guardian return." Kratos is the doom befalling the indestructible, and has returned with the guardian (Faye) to Jotunheim.
Kratos = doom
Baldur = Indestructible
The Guardian Returns = Faye to Jotunheim
I thought Faye would return somehow and appear to be alive after Baulder dies because of the whole “the guardian returns”
I love the fact that Atreus never says "I love you mom" until this last scene . . . so sad :(
I cried when he told the story about Atreus, and i didnt even play the game since God of War 2
Atreus never actually appears in the old games so don't worry, this was the first time we've heard of Atreus of Sparta
@@AveryScarlet i thought it's the one that he killed by accident in god of war 2
@@gb7586 No it wasn't, because Kratos said he buried him when Atreus gave his life for Sparta. That must have been before GoW 2
@@AveryScarlet it's probably even before god of war ascension, when he was a spartan general
“The Giants... They really are all gone.” Fuuuuuuuck that hit me so hard and it’s just tied into the actual story
I love how in Norse Mythology. The giants are the villains but in this game, the Aesir are the baddies while the giants are the heroes. This makes me wonder, Will Surtr be a friend or foe?
@@rickyrackey7930 Oh shit imagine if Surtr ended up being an unexpected ally. And unlike the Titans he doesn't betray or deceive Kratos
"What would Artreus do?" "What would Loki do?"
Oh dear, I wonder if thats some foreshadowing to what the next games story will be about.
maybe artreus is torn between being him self "artreus" and being his fate "loki"
My first reaction to atreus being called loki was “WAIT HOLD ON A F*CKING MINUTE”.
4:33 Kratos has carried the ashes of his loved ones for centuries, as atonement for his sins. It’s quite touching that his efforts led to Atreus carrying the ashes of his loved one as well, but as a token of his efforts.
Father: God of War
Son: God of Chaos
Where there is War there is Chaos
War and chaos together brings destruction
Well that doesn't mean those three things are bad. It may be for the good or for the bad, it only depends on what you or others believe
And Loki's son fenrir is the god of destruction
@@markdevontrocio1030 From how we see in everything that we have in history, it is noticeable that now the terms are completely overturned. An impressive game that now makes us all try to guess if the future is prosperous or not.
God Of Mischief
This game was like closure to me, I recently lost my grandma. And decided to buy this game to get over it but instead it made me feel like I had closure
So the two unleashed the ragnarok and destroyed it at the same time in this game.
What do you mean?
Ragnarok is inevitable, when they return from Jotunheim, it starts snowing everywhere, this is Fimbulwinter, the three year winter with no summer in-between which will generate strife among men, and kinship will be forgotten, after that, three roosters will inform gods, giants and the dead that Ragnarok has begun.
Frederik Johnson - from who and what Kratos and his son has encountered, and since they have triggered a series of events, the ragnarok may soon occur or have already been unleashed.
*[SPOILER]*
The death of Baldur is one of the signs of the ragnarok...
_Paws_ But what makes you think they "destroyed" ragnarok?
Frederik Johnson - I meant to put a question mark, it was a question.
Knowing now what happens they did not destroy the ragnarok but took some part of it out; Baldur for one. However, the weird _timeline_ the game's story places everyone and the events in, it looks as though _a_ ragnarok occurred and probably another one may take place if the game has a sequel along with the current story/plot.
12:40 i am not crying... You re crying :'(
:,(
I'm gonna make a wild theory, I think that this game's sequel will end with Kratos and Atreus killing Heimdall and Kratos being killed by Thor, Atreus will then return to Jotunheim and blow Heimdall's horn, reviving the Giants thus starting Ragnarok for good as Atreus leads the revived Giants against Odin.
It's not GOW without Kratos
Am calling it NOW, kratos will go on a killing spre and kill Thor and Odin and Loki will see the true nature of his father and kill him, from which Jormungandr is born and he is upset and crying as shown on the paintings by his mother
"can we go now we're so close"

FACS, I SHOULD'VE EXPLORED MORE
I agree to some degree. You wish you explored it more, but at the same time if you do that before finishing the game, you get kind of disconnected from the main story imo. Same thing when I played through the Witcher 3 storyline.
24RuLeS24RuLeS yeah man..
I finished it in 1 day
Im going to say this the character development is awesome. The relationship between the two has grown so strong its amazing a 10/10 game
One of the best soundtrack of gaming history, absolutely astonishing
Wow such a beautiful story not only she wanted to make them closer and stronger through their journey but tell them the truth about everything and at the same time bringing her to rest with the rest of her slayed kin.
When the chorus comes in when Kratos says "his memory was a comfort in dark times..." 👌👌❤❤
Atreus: Wow! You actually told a good story! And Mimir misted it!
Krato's Thoughts: Good.
I find it brilliant that they leave mimir to the dwarfs so when they arrive in jotunheim and he cant explain anything and everything is left ambigous
What if this cycle continues after Kratos “dies” and Atreus’ ends up in Egypt after causing Ragnarok, his son repeats the cycle after destroying the Egyptian pantheon, repeat ad nauseum?
So Fenrir will wipe out the Egyptian Pantheon

What a beautiful ending. Legit cry at this scene everytime.
One of the greatest endings to a video game I've ever seen.
In Ragnarök they did a good example of "being a teenager"
Atreu- Loki lost a lot of energy in God Of War
I have played every god of war game, since I was a child, playing this game brought back so many memories
Their final farewell to Feye made me cry buckets.
Fuck I cried when Kratos said "Goodbye Faye" and when Atreus said "I love you mom"

I was late playing this game. Just beat it last night. Can’t wait to start on Ragnarok!
Why do I get the feeling that the dwarves measuring Mimir's head is a bad sign?
Vincent Cantera lol why ? I think they are going to make him a magical body which mimir can move with his reanimated head. So he doesn’t have to be dangling from the hips of the ghost of Sparta in the next game.
dufferego87 Or let's just say that they were able to replicate Mimir's head which can give them acess to Jotenheim. Then one day Thor or Odin appears before them and takes the head they made then reach Jotenheim and kill all the giants there.
Vincent Cantera There are no giants left.
Wasn't it disappointing how Mimir just dangled around and explained lore but he wasn't actually useful in game?..
@@Ilkvomit He was. He explained every single bit of lore we needed to know about the gods and what happened to the giants. He wasn't meant to support the characters in combat

14:34 it sounds like Kratos burped when he said Day
Awww, Kratos and Atreus have really bonded through out this entire game 🥰🥰
"The Giants called me... 'Loki'?"
Interesting... Very interesting...
Why is it that they never speak of the dead giants ??? I mean the mountain was filled with dead giants. How did thor and odin reach this place if they never had access to it?
The conversations of Mimir speaking about Týr explain that he tried to hide secrets by helping the giants from Thor and Odin but they found out.
Giants will return and Thor will die like a frog in serpents mouth. For Odin , i think he will get a big beatdown by Kratos and Atreus. After killing Freya ofc.
Selin Sevgi Terzi Thor (in the ragnarok) is supposed to kill the giant snake and surtr, but to die finally because of the poison
I don't have a PS4 or never had a PS3 for that matter. But Kratos is one of my favourite protagonists alongside Max Payne. At some point I can relate them with each other.
Edit: Arthur takes the crown now.
Who could bring it to tell it to their son, that we potentially might die, that we were not strong enough to save ourselves for them. Something only potential fathers or current fathers might understand but be appreciated by all.
When you wanna react like Brok but react like Sindri at the ending of this game
The ending of GoW Ragnarok was fire, but then THIS! THIS IS THE PREVIOUS GAME!!! AND THIS HAD THE BETTER ENDING
Anyone else just start tearing when the singing starts getting louder when they spread the ashes
so... the supposed ''dying of kratos'' its actually odin... incredible

it made more sense now.. and the light waves too
Kratos removing his bandages while saying he has nothing more to hide is probably my favourite scene in the whole game (and perhaps the whole series).
He became such an incredible character.
The feels are too great for my heart to bear
When kratos took off his bandages I had been confused of what he mean't by "nothing more to hide." Then it hit me when I looked closer, there are burn marks on his arms from using the blades of chaos. It hit me like a brick, in a bittersweet way.
“The name...Loki.”
