Woody Guthrie's Chains - Reg Meuross

As yet unreleased, this is part of a Woody Guthrie song cycle I'm working on called Fire & Dust.
Here I'm singing it in Sidmouth Parish Church in 2018 with the Katie Whitehouse Pop Up Choir backing me.
In May 2022 I had the chance to premiere a shortened version of the song cycle at Mike Harding's Mayfest for Ukraine Festival. The whole show is still in development with a podcast and album currently in production. The solo show was really well received and it was wonderful to hear the feedback, not only for my songs but folks' affectionate comments about Woody, his life's journey and what he stood for.
I'll be presenting the festival version of the show at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival with two exceptional musicians Marion Fleetwood & Geraint Watkins who also appear on the album.
