この曲に最初に出会ったのは、同じ教会に集っていた或る姉妹が、3人の子供たちとご主人を残して急に召されてしまい、仲良くしていた私自身もなかなかショックから立ち直れなかった、その様な時でした。
何度も聴きました。歌いました。そして、泣きました。
その時から２〜３年経った今も、心が落ち込んだ時の助けになっている賛美の一つです。
