Adrian, you are the most underrated guitar teacher on UA-cam. Cheers mate
You should check a different rating site. If you'll look at my personal ratings for instance, he's in the top spot, so therefore, he's perfectly rated.
Totally agree. I learned from this video more than I’ve learned by myself in many years. Thank you friend, all the way from Mexico. ❤
Best guitar teacher on UA-cam - hands down. One of the best lessons yet 👏👏👏
The fretboard and my ear really opened up when I placed greater emphasis on triads. If you listen to really melodic players, they use chord tones to launch into melodic themes. Gilmour, Knopfler, and even most experienced jazz improvisers rely heavily on chord tones to create melody.
Adrian, many times over, I think, "Damn, that sounds great." Then you teach it to us and the theory behind it. Can't thank you enough.
Christ Adrian, you've got me interested in theory. To be honest I've always avoided it, but you've switched a light on, and after many years, and i mean MANY, i'm going to look into it. Great video, calmly and expertly explained.
The chords of Led Zeps "Thank You" are nice to improv over 🤙🏼.I find turning a triad into a 9th or an 11th makes triads sounds amazing!
Best lesson about triads on UA-cam.
Congratulations 👍❤️🎸
Cool Adrian as ever you expand my vocabulary. Never new the 2nd could add so much melodic flourish to a triad!
Just discovered you today Adrian, perfect learning material for where I am and where I'm trying to go. You deserve all the praise and more!
Adrian can you should your finger placement closer??
Thanks as always Adrian. I hope autumn is kind to everyone out there and inspires something new in your playing.
Yet another top drawer lesson, Adrian. Your content has been been very helpful in evolving and improving my playing. Great and practical information presented in a relaxed, cool vibe. I bow in humble thanks in your direction.
I'm just exploring triads currently and this had really made a huge difference! Great video!
Great lesson!
I am learning a lot from you. I watch ALL your videos to the end, I don’t want to miss anything.
Great tones!
I really loved the gear walkthrough. I’m heading over to Patreon now🤘

Beautifully simplified lesson and really lovely playing today! I may have to play with it a bit. You sure make it look easy!
No matter how much I try learning music theory my eyes just glaze over every time. These videos are amazing. Thank you so much! This is the kind of theory that actually gets me making music.
Cool lesson. A lot of fun stuff to work on. You are definitely one of my favorite instructors on UA-cam. Thank you for this lesson.
Another great one from my favorite online instructor. I’ve watched it twice, already. Thank you, Adrian!
Brilliantly taught, and just what I need to help my solos right now. Thank you!

Superb! I always learn so much with your easy and simple explanations. Thank you for opening up another exciting Avenue to my guitar journey.
This is a fantastic lesson and really opens up the fretboard, thank you very much mate
Consistently great content. Well done! Really nice nuggets of info in this one that are instantly applicable to most common chord progressions.
Very well thought out presentation illustrating triads and inversions . I appreciate your approach, as it’s basic, but meaningful concerning as such to get the player to practice more horizontal methods along the neck to get your message of guitar neck patterns. Thank you for your insight and developmental techniques.
Always look forward every Friday for your videos Adrian. They are so great and do helpful
THANK YOU Adrian, and yes I stayed through to the end and found it really helpful/informative/useful/beautiful and lyrical. Especially the idea of adding the second or ninth interval. See you again. Ciao.
I watched all the way to the end, and I think you're playing and teaching is great. I really appreciate what you are doing. cheers adrian

Excellent lesson Adrian. I've always been terrible at trying to grasp chord tones etc. but this is a really good way of getting into it.
Great aproach to a new way to create solos.
It is nice to get away from scales once in a while 👍
Very helpful 🤟

Great lesson Adrian! A terrific framework for solo work. Thanks
Adrian, this blew my mind. Really beautiful & melodic phrases. Thankyou for uploading this wonderful lesson
I've found I learn best with chord shapes. I have been practicing major and minor triads shapes for awhile now. This bit of adding the 2nd has me sounding like I know what I am doing now. Thanks so much. Great lesson. Great teacher.
Thank you for such an awesome, practical lesson. Cheers mate! 🙌
Thank you so much Adrian, this opens so many doors, hours of fun ahead.
Totally worth to watch all the way til the end. Fabulous and useful content as usual.
This is undoubtedly the best lesson I’ve watched for triads. Cheers mate.

Lovely lesson Adrian, thinking about and learning the triads is a great way to unlock the neck.
This is one of the most useful videos I’ve seen in months! Thank you.
This is a a great lesson and I appreciate the practical examples and clear presentation. Thank you :) Love your playing and tone too.
Thanks for this! It also helped clarify some things about triads for me! And I *do* watch to the end, though I don't think I'm quite at the place in my level of virtuosity where I need to worry much about pedals and amps... :)
There will never be too many videos about the wonders of triads. Very well done sir.
Uma aula além da expectativa / esta me ajudando muito! tankx a lot Andrew!!!
Another great lesson. It never ceases to amaze me how you can create something so melodic and interesting that's really pretty simple to play (although I'll be the first to admit I couldn't have come up with this). So thank you for creating beautiful music that is also entirely achievable for those of us who are not nearly as gifted as you. And I always watch your videos to the end and love the theory portion of the lesson (and am a very happy patreon member - WELL WORTH IT).
He has the gift for melodic phrasing. David Gilmour and Michael Schenker have this quality as well.
are you kidding!? Not sure how many watch the long detailed ones to the end !!!? If there is anyone I watch to the end, its you!! THE BEST UA-cam teacher!!! Thanks for another great inspiration lesson!!! ...And Thanks for what you do!
Thanks Adrian. Loads of useful ideas there. I watched right to the end!
Your lessons are always chill and refreshing. Thanks, Adrian!
Wonder no more...I always watch your videos to the end cuz they're soooo good! And thanks for another great tutorial 👍
You made this video at the perfect time for me. Been practicing with the solo app, working on my major and minor intervals and this video puts that training in context. Thank you!
What app?
@@AnnaPrzebudzona It's call Sølo.
Wow, this was perfect for me to work on and embellish the triad work. Thank you so much. Love your video.
There are so many guitar teachers on you tube but you are one on the only ones I really care to watch. Thanks for the great content. Really loved this lesson.
This was great and very helpful. Thanks for your time!
Always watch to the end. Thank you, I need to start looking into triads.
This is really cool and helpful, thanks! I tend to fall back on the pentatonic or modes on root. This seems like a great and simple idea to get out of that rut. I’m going to give it a try. Cheers!
Hello, and thank you for a precise and clear explanation. I've only just discovered your lessons. I will look further into your others!
Watched it until the end! And will do this again! Thanks!
Watched all of it (some parts of course multiple times). Thank you so much for this!
Wow! That was an awsome instuction on triads and their usage. Props
James

I'm watching till the end...appreciate the class :) very practical and well explained
Thanks for the input!
Fantastic lesson!! thank you so much Adrian!
I’ve been playing and singing for fun for around 30 years. My whole time playing I’ve mostly just played open chords for country songs. I use some triads and some bar chords but mostly just open chords. I know music theory fairly well. I’ve always wanted to do more on the guitar than what I do but never could take it to the next level. About two weeks ago I started practicing my triads. I’ve been teaching myself all the triads on the neck, practicing them over and over, and applying music theory to them. It was like a light bulb went off. I’m starting to see the different shapes on the neck and how they tie into scales. I’ve taught myself more in the last two weeks than I have in the last 10 years or so. I wish that I would have learned more about triads whenever I first started playing. It’s made guitar fun again.
Great vid. Very helpful. Thanks for the gear walk thru. Nice tone!
Incredibly helpful video!!!! Looking forward to practice them
another great video with much to learn👍 tnx a lot Adrian!
Brilliant. Many thanks Adrian.
Looking like a 71 era Elton with them shades bro..great lesson.
Excellent and sweet. And I always watch your entire videos. You make it look so easy. Keep it up. Thank you
Just found this lesson pure gold thanks for all the ideas to build on
Brilliant! So good and practical, how come I never thought of this. Thanks!
Thanks, so much. I reckon this is the sort of content that could a) open up a world of creativity and b) stop me sounding like everyone else!
I have been doing this for a long time and had no idea it was called something, I felt like I was finding some sort of structure and not doing it nearly as melodically as you, but same notes.
Thanks for always for your amazing attitude and knowledge.
Very soulful guitar playing and a great lesson
Thank you!!!
Excellent!!!!
Also- Thank you for the detailed gear review. Really helpful.
HEY, ya 'gotta' love a guy that matches his guitar to his glasses! 😁
Oh, and it's also an EXCELLENT lesson, Adrian! Ended up messing about with this for about an hour, just 'cause I love the sound progression! 👍
Great set of tips and tricks- thanks
Good stuff. Yes, I watched til the end. I've been just starting to mess with the triads. Been playing with bends just in the pentatonic, but I have started to think about what you went over with these triad bends. Very nice video. Thank you!
Really great video. I've been playing for decades and never thought about this before.
That was a great solo! Simple but very expressive. Well done
WOW ,, LOVE THE SOUND OF YOUR TRIADS... I WILL BE TRYING THIS... THANK YOU...
Really clearly put. Straight forward and interesting. Good stuff
Thanks. A lot of really good ideas. I love the tone that you are getting out of your Telecaster.
Another great lesson. I hope your channel blows up. The guitar world needs you!
