That's nice - my town isn't having any lights this year to save electricity in the energy crisis... I don't go out much after dark anyway, as the street lamps are switched off early for the same reason; it is nice to see some people's private decorations, though.
I love wrapping gifts and making them something special, adding a few twigs or flowers from the garden.
It took me more than 5 years to use up all the wrapping papers I had collected over the years but now I only use brown paper and tissue paper unless I have a big piece of other paper to re-use. I reuse the ribbons, too, from year to year as that is something that just gets thrown away, such a shame, they're often beautiful.
I also cut off and keep the ribbons used to hold clothing on a hanger and those little bits often come in useful tied into bows or added into a ribbon which is too short to make a bow. My family is more traditional so I use the "Christmas" colours at this time of year and other colours for other occasions like birthdays.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! 😃
I love your gift-wrapping ideas using twigs and flowers from your garden💖💐 and reusing ribbons. I agree that these are too beautiful to throw away for one use. Thank you so much for sharing your Christmas😊 It's truly special.💕 Have fabulous Christmas.🎄
