Why does everyone want Adam back? He abandoned the band, then started up his own solo thing. Matt is doing a fucking amazing job, and if you can't accept that, and that Adam will never be coming back, you arent a real 3DG fan.

Adam was an amazing singer, and I completely support his choices. I'm really glad he got over his addiction. But I would say it is very fortunate that Matt joined the band, to keep it alive. Stop hating on him! If he wasn't here, there would be no more TDG!

Jayden Seguin no, what almost ruined them was Adam's new found ego. Watch shows in late 2012 shows, adam stood still and brought no energy to the band or the crowd. Matt is running around hyping people up. He gives everything he can on that stage.

i've gotta disagree with this mate. I think when you look back at TDG with adam singing live songs like I hate everything about you he delivers it a lot better and with a lot more passion, but that's just my opinion, but really mate they toured in my town recently and i didn;t go because without adam whether you like it or hate this fact tdg is not the same without him the dynamics changed to much man. Thats my opinion anyway fair play to you for yours and I hope TDG continue to do well :)
I don't know why people keep bashing Matt. Change happens. Adam had to leave according to his own words, and he praises Matt as the best pick the band could have made to replace him. Its because of people who bash change like a good portion of the people in this comments section that people think the youtube community is a joke. Matt sings just fine. He is actually really good, and covers most of the old songs decently well. To hold him to the standard of having to sing just like Adam is unrealistic, and unfair. Nobody can sound like Adam. But Matt here does a damn good job trying, and instead of bashing him for being new, you should be supportive of him so he can continue to grow and help keep TDG alive. All of you who have sat here and bashed him are not true fans, and should be ashamed of yourselves.
You are 100% correct, people won't let it go that Adam left. If you have a problem with Matt, then listen to the old albums. Stop talking down upon the guy that is keeping the band going.

Guys,u don't get it.Adam leaved cuz his health issues,he continued his life in a new band called Saint Asonia.He didn't want to close 3DG!!!Brad helped by suggesting his younger brother Matt who has more energy and rock voice.And Adam agreed cuz he knew that Matt's dream was to be in 3DG!!!!Matt never replaced Adam and he won't,Matt is saving the band and deal with it!!If u don't like Matt,it means that u don't like 3DG!!Listen Saint Asonia and leave 3DG behind if u don't agree with Matt in the band!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't need to sound like Adam lol Matt has a really stable and graceful voice, noy only in studio but live too.

I totally aggree ! Even though Adam had more of that "raw" touch in his voice, he was never able to hit all the notes (mostly the high ofc). Matt on the other hand hits them all (even though he clearly lacks the power Adam but I still enjoy the more powerful notes in Matt's voice) even though his voice is a little weaker. Let's hope it gets better with time :p

When matt took over i hastily was hated him because i loved adam and his style but ive since accepted matt and tbh he is an amazing vocalist and has created his own image as the 3DG front man like it or not hes here to stay

I read a lot of these comments about Adam vs. Matt. They are both good in their own talents. I believe that even though Adam was the original Matt has the right to make the "job" as lead singer his own. He is good. Will he be Adam? No! not ever. He is doing a good job replacing an original member of the group and doing a fantastic job! I have lived over 50 years with music and bands and change is inevitable! It has happened since I remember since the 60's with band members! Some work some don't....this seems to be working...give Matt a chance... for those of you who are young(20-30) don't be so critical! There are many talented musicians out there in the world.

Matt was great in My Darkest Days, but TDG he can't sing Adam's songs at all. He didn't write any of them, he didn't pass through the pain Adam passed because it was his own experiences and life he wrote. Matt just gained a throne that he didn't earn. Old TDG songs are solely Adam's.

А с того момента, когда вокалистом стал Мэтт, я не лью на него помои, а просто воспринимаю Three Days Grace как совершенно другую группу.

I'm glad I found another one of Matt's performances in higher quality. I think he sounds really good, for the most part. The only thing I didn't particularly like was when he sang Pain. Whenever he got to the chorus he kind of fell flat. That and when he says "feel" in Riot.

Unpopular opinion, but Matt’s version of Home to me is better than Adam’s. They both had the voice for it, but Matt’s screams just brings it to whole new level for me. Adam’s is good too, don’t get me wrong, but Matt just excels at it imo.

I will never, ever say Matt is better for the band. Adam was way better than Matt in lyrical content and voice wise but you'll also never hear me say Matt can't put on one hell of a performance. He's so entertaining to watch and he doesn't sound bad. Adam sounds better but Matt sounds good.
