"Well, moving along".....I do so wish I possessed that chill kind of attitude. Thanks for all the time you spend working on your "short films"! Pura Vida from Costa Rica!
KQ hand was odd with the board paired and a K also. You put him on a medium Ace and that hand is never going to fold, considering he has no kicker issues. (unless I am wrong)
You're right the bluff only reps what, like 9 or 10 reasonable hands for a 3 better? There's way more bluffs that the villain beats. In the villain's spot I would expect to win nearly every time with the 3 better checking the turn.
Huge fan bro, one of the best out there for content and I love your way of explaining your thought process. I've improved a lot! If you ever come to London to play that would be amazing 😁👏🏻
12:40. When they check-raise the flop, I call, and then they check the turn... man, if I thought I might have the best hand on the flop, then I'm betting. I fall for the sneaky double check-raise about once every two years, and I'm happy to fade that. I just don't want their silly check/raise on the flop to give them a free look at the river.
Great video Mariano. With the KQ hand, curious what your line would have been if you had KK, AA, or AK. Check raise seems reasonable along with a large river bet after checking the turn…
The KQ check raise bluff was terrible spot to bluff. In the opponent’s pov he only loses to AK. Every other Ax chops as they are playing the King kicker. Additionally, M has the Qh reducing the opponents flush draw hands that we would want the opponent to have when going for the bluff on the river.
There is no such thing as a thin value bluff, as those get called and raised WAY more often than actual bluff sizing...just be proper and bet the RIGHT size for the story you are trying to tell...
for the first hand yeah, its complicated to bluff there as it feels like you want to get him out of a chop and you mostlikely dont have an 8 but what do I know about it
Come visit Del Sol Casino in Tucson on a Thursday. There is a 5-10-20 with $50 bomb pot every dealer change. $3000 max buy in and a lot of action. Starts at 5 pm.
6:05 It's kinda funny that the guy checked back QJ on the turn because, at least according to theory, he should use his double gutter and button status as a perfect opportunity to win the pot on the turn. Which, of course, ends up costing you $400.
it's perfect for a poker player on the strip, the chipotle in PH is always good. the one next to harrah's is disgusting. and the one in venitian is a pure gamble.
In that first hand you're only really repping KK and AA right? I imagine worse aces or an 8 would have bet the turn. And if you did check AA or KK on the turn and he checked back, it seems odd that you wouldn't bet the river for value, given that he's capped and probably holds a weak ace. I think the K on this river is a decent bluff catcher, but he would have to be floating hearts or a broadway gutter or a small pair like 66 and then electing not to bluff the turn and then bluff it at the end. Since he's not repping that much either after turn check back, I would think it would be hard for him to have enough bluffs. If you didn't hold the Qh maybe you could call. I do think it would exploitable, if not necessarily "too tight" given the line, to fold everything but an ace to his bet. How many aces are you 3 betting and then pot controlling 2 streets? AK and AQ want to bet for value, so maybe you have 24 combos of AJ and AT that would take this line, and you have probably 150 combos or so of stuff in your preflop range that you would want to 3-bet in this spot and your flop bet doesn't narrow that range at all. So his bet could get you off like 60% of your range as played, once you take out the combos that would have bet. It raises the question of whether you would want to X/R anything on this particular river given flop and turn. Like, I feel your value range is a null range so how do we pick combos to bluff?
Sup bro 😎 I like your vids I've been inspired to be a pro cash player too ! Wish me Luck! Love your vids bro makes me wanna upload some soon! Goodluck bra!
Love how he keeps it shirt and sweet in his vids. I am really getting tired of Brad and neemes 40 minute videos of themselves. I don't care your wpt approved or whatever,just get on with the hands!! Love your vids man and get back to the Hustler again and school them pigs;
Mariano I love you. But please, don't you fall victim to calling the flip at 2:15 "PLO". Forgive my semantic nittiness, but the "PL" in "PLO" stands for Pot Limit. Which, if you think about it, really doesn't apply to an all-in flip, no? It's an Omaha flip. Or it could be an O/8 flip if you want to (likely) give two people a piece of the $4k pie. But it is definitely *not* a PLO flip. Much love, and now to enjoy the always epic short film by Mariano.
Surprised you posted an L that session. Seemed like a soft table. I guess that's poker. Good vlog, love your cash game vlogs so much better than your tournament ones
How Mariano has only 100k subscribers is beyond me, the absolute goat of poker vlogs and it’s not even close
100% agree with you

"Well, moving along".....I do so wish I possessed that chill kind of attitude. Thanks for all the time you spend working on your "short films"! Pura Vida from Costa Rica!

Huge fan bro, one of the best out there for content and I love your way of explaining your thought process. I've improved a lot! If you ever come to London to play that would be amazing 😁👏🏻
Always a pleasure viewing your poker brother.. it's not always big pots and run good so it's humbling to see how you express this side of it.

It's great to get another vlog on Mariano Mondays.
I enjoyed the action you brought. Seemed like the table was just calling stations for the most part. Hope the cards run good next session. 🤘
He played like shit this session. He had shut down value and could have saved money
A stand out point of this vlog above all others is the intro music. Always so cool
That's how I feel with Andrew Neeme's videos but Mariano is up there
I like at the end where he has "b" roll and the YT cards don't block any meaningful content.
Hi mate! Which state is best option for offline microstakes? 1-2-5$? Florida?
Great video Mariano. With the KQ hand, curious what your line would have been if you had KK, AA, or AK. Check raise seems reasonable along with a large river bet after checking the turn…
It would've been the same with those hands
I really needed this on a Monday morning. Cheers to you Mariano, your vlogs are awesome.
Holy shit I remember playing with you a few times at Jamul and now you are at 100k subs playing high stakes. Keep living the dream bro.
What’s avg stack size for the 5-10-20 game at the Wynn?

I would've cashed out right after winning the PLO flip. Hit and run baby!😎
Poor etiquette :)

Great vlog. What kind of camera do you film with?
new cam? looks alot crisper!
Good videos I have been seeing ur videos in some big tables good luck bro
When ‘once in a while’ aggressive option is ‘every time’ :)
I just don't include all the times I fold

Thanks for posting. Good content. Peace!
Mariano went from a small UA-cam vlogger to a millionaire who travels to play poker with the best in the world. How amazing is that
Always nice work, always nice vlog.
How does your opponent not bet turn or river with a nutted hand?
Do you ever bluff with “thin value” bets?
Wat
There is no such thing as a thin value bluff, as those get called and raised WAY more often than actual bluff sizing...just be proper and bet the RIGHT size for the story you are trying to tell...
Name one value hand that you play like the KQo in the first hand please
No
You play very solid man. Best of luck, keep up the +EV
fav poker player 🎉
Nice gift, Vincent!
for the first hand yeah, its complicated to bluff there as it feels like you want to get him out of a chop and you mostlikely dont have an 8 but what do I know about it

Good video as always 👍
No wait. Chipotle? You were within a quick walk of Tacos El Gordo. Son, we gotta have a talk.
Love when the poker vloggers use the commentary to subliminally say things to the other players at the table 🤣
I'm call you Kenny coz boy you are a gambler 🤣🤣
I want in on June 30 online I need info to sign in

You’re so good at poker
No way was I at the Wynn the same time as you! Would of been awesome to run into each other... Stayed on the 1-3 table tho..

Good vlog!
You know Mariano is a solid poker player but also a solid dude because his go to restaurant win or lose is Chipotle Lol.
it's perfect for a poker player on the strip, the chipotle in PH is always good. the one next to harrah's is disgusting. and the one in venitian is a pure gamble.
Let’s get it!!!
Mariano has legs for arms 🦵
10:54 The next time you flop the nuts, if you'll insert a clip of Wolfgang saying "Bang!" I'll send $100 to the ACLU.
7:35 👈🏼🤦🏻♂️ Really bad play there…that’s when you get check-raised and say: f*ck , why I didn’t check back ?? 😂👉🏼 8:56 Like in this hand !!
We wanna see some WSOP vids!
lets go!
10:30 Things that are "very impossible" are difficult to accomplish imo.
Failed massive bluffs are entertaining to watch him n rampunt took the same course .....
Mariano who is your coach youve gotten really good recently.

Mariano you vlogs are fucking amazing i love it. Keep it up
Hi, from Marbella
Love how he keeps it shirt and sweet in his vids. I am really getting tired of Brad and neemes 40 minute videos of themselves. I don't care your wpt approved or whatever,just get on with the hands!! Love your vids man and get back to the Hustler again and school them pigs;
That first KQ hand was so weird.
Kicker doesn't play on that board so probably all A call. Don't see what better hand is ever folding.

I stayed at the Wynn New Years and played there. I loved their poker room! Won lots too!!

14:20 i hate when people "shuffle" their chips by doing fuck all with them but noise lol
Surprised you posted an L that session. Seemed like a soft table. I guess that's poker. Good vlog, love your cash game vlogs so much better than your tournament ones
