is it possible to use RBF for like, a face rigged with a bunch of bones only, and using some control rig to make face poses with the bones? really cool features by the way!
Has anyone got this actually working yet... ? The new updated RBF needs totally different steps. I've tried many methods, and it's either deleting the pose's I make, or not saving/updating the node. -_- Terribly frustrating. Also if you Apply and then want to undo to make a change, it doesn't just remove the "Apply", but it removes the entire RBF from the scene and all poses. Really unusable in current state.
When you create new RBF nodes in the latest version, it no longer gives you an option to Rename it? (You can manually do it in the Outliner, but would be nice to have a prompt to name these on creation)
Doesn't work at all :( After create RBF node, (for example) I move leg control then move skirt control -> add pose and he add (0,0,0) for skirt control. Can u help?
Hi, yes is how it works. It 0,0,0 your control and set the value in the parent node of the control. Please check the video again, it is explained there ;) PS: Please for support use the forum in the future forum.mgear-framework.com/ :)
Really great feature, at the moment i'm having an error following the same steps: # Warning: Unrecognized node type 'weightDriver'; preserving node information during this session. # # Traceback (most recent call last): .... .... IndexError: list index out of range Anything that i'm doing wrong?
great stuff guys! really lovely
Do I have to use control? Can I uset it for joints in the scene directly without control objects?
so what was the process you used for the middle part of the skirt?

Sorry i figured it out, you need to have the RBF node installed as mentioned above : ) My bad!
does this work only with mGear rigs?
can work with non-mGear rigs. But certain structure is expected. Basically one transform parent of the ctl to set all transform to a reset values
Amazing,RBF means?
Radial Basis Function
